This coming weekend the WPBA's stop is at the PAR-A-DICE CASINO & HOTEL, Thursday-Sunday. Along with the PRO tournament, 4 NON PRO tournaments are being held there, this same weekend. Karla Chorny representing BLACK HEART Qs will be playing in the NON PRO tourneys, so if you see her give her some support & say HI from a fellow CCBer...JER

Hi Jer,

I'll be there and try to say hi. I'm partnering up with my team mate and buddy, good guy Graig Rice.

Chris, I had the pleasure of meeting Karla when she came to Maryland to play in a CAT tournament. She is a very nice young lady and plays one heck of a game.
Jer wouldn't say it, but, don't forget to check out the Blackheart cue Karla is using. It is one beautiful piece of work.
Good luck, if you are playing in the tournament, and good luck to Karla also.

Good morning:

I also had the pleasure of meeting Karla at the CAT Tournament in Laural Maryland. Wonderful woman and one hell of a pool player...

Find out what the women are really saying about playing in a rigged tournament. See what they say after they realize that they have been had. A lot of the lower rated players had very little chance of coming in the money when the tournament was on the up and up. Now they have no chance. Nada. None. Zip. And soon they will realize it. Jake

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I love to play against men (it looks like there aren't any women's divisions) as it can only improve my game.

If any CCB'ers are there, I would love to meet you! I hope to run into CC (CC and Craig Rice... TOUGH team!) I don't have a partner yet for partners 8-ball, but hope to pick one up. If not, I'll use the time to watch the "big girls " play. /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif

Rich and Dr. D, thank you so much for your kind words! /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif I'll try my best to live up to them!

Jake, I think the WPBA is finishing out this year with the old format, so the girls won't be feeling the brunt of the latest decisions until next year.

Hi Karla,

I know of two people that don't have a partner. If all else fails? I'll hook you up. Don't worry there shooters. I wouldn't hook you up, if you didn't have a chance to take it off.

I also emailed Mike back concerning the CCB key rings. I got one for you. Don't know if I'll have them by the tourney but I'll figure something out.

Good Luck too,

Well the upside, at least temporarily, is that lots of the lower tier players who had often been going 2 and out but still geting paid are now dropping out. Girls lower on the list are getting calls to play. Peoria had several drop-outs as did NY making several others very happy to now get the chance.

Another result may be that the regional tours will suffer as the girls now getting the invites wont need to play in them to win qualifiers. we shall see.

Hey Chris,

Thanks a lot! If I don't find a partner, I'll check with you to see if those players are still available.

I'm also excited to get a keychain! /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif
