View Full Version : From loon to in tune in one blog post?

Ms Debbie Schlussel went from being on a LOONWATCH (http://www.loonwatch.com/2009/06/debbie-schlussel-and-the-great-blog-wars/) to being a hero just by posting nonsense about a conservative cause.

This leaves the left in the unenviable position of admitting that their heroine du jour is a proven nutjob blogger, or that she is reliable and Media Matters is actually "NAZI FUNDED" as she claims:

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">In describing Media Matters as "Nazi-funded," Schlussel linked to an April 18 blog post in which she falsely claimed that Media Matters was funded by philanthropist George Soros and smeared Soros as "a fake Holocaust survivor, who -- instead of 'surviving' the Holocuast [sic] -- helped the Nazis perpetrate it." </div></div>

and that Michelle Obama is merely a pimp for Obamacare, as Ms Schlussel claims:

&gt;&gt;&gt;OH DEAR&lt;&lt;&lt; (http://mediamatters.org/research/200705020006)

I wonder which side they will take?

Actually, I don't.

I predict they will revert to doublethink and believe she is a paragon of integrity and a vicious liar both at the same time.

As I've researched this, it appears that Ms Schlussel has been in a snit for a few years claiming that Hannity scalped a few stories off of her blog and used them without crediting her for the leg work.

If true, this was unethical on Mr Hannity's part.

Regardless, Ms Schlussel's smearing of a great charity is reprehensible.
