Student Loans Included. Doctor Fix Not???

Its interesting that student loan legislation was included in the health care bill and the doctor fix was not.

The reason.
The student lone program would be a revenue source for the government and it was intended to have a higher interest rate than is currently available.

The Doctor fix on the other hand would have cost in excess of 260 billion dollars and put the health care bill in deficit to the tune of approx 125 billion dollars as I understand it.

So with a wink and a nod they have decided to do the doctor fix at a later time.

Had they been up front and truthful about the real cost of the bill, they could never gotten it passed.

I agree. Doctors should be fixed. They have way too many children.

Maybe it would be cheaper if they let veterinarians do the procedures.
