On March 27, Fox News continued its political activism by aggressively promoting that day's Tea Party Express rally, which targeted for defeat Sen. Harry Reid and other members of Congress who support health care reform. The rally was sponsored by a political action committee run by Republican consultants and headlined by Fox News contributor Sarah Palin, whose speech Fox broadcast live. </div></div>

They didn't promote it, they reported it.

That's what journalists do.

Why do you hate free speech?

Based on the title of your thread, I can only assume that you don't believe the Tea Party movement is actually a grass roots movement. I would like to know what facts you used to come to that conclusion.
Many of us have watched the small, widely scattered protest ralleys develop into the tea party. That is the ultimate example of exactly what a grass roots movement is. It starts with the people.
The American Revolution shows us how a true grass roots movement can develop into a very powerful group. I do find it interesting that the left is doing everything they can to discredit them, and shut them down.
Here is a simple fact. When government oversteps it's bounds, and tries to supress the will of the people, the people will fight back. What we are witnessing may very well be an example of exactly what makes America the greatest country in the world!
Watch and learn.

Media Matters came to that conclusion for him.

To a statist, if the party say it ... it cannot be questioned.
