No president of our country, going back to JFK, has ever weakened our security the way Obama has done this week. By promising that we will NOT consider the use of nuclear weapons against most countries, he has effectively removed the one biggest threat that would discourage those countries from attacking us.

Consider the posssibility of one of these countries launching a biological or chemical attack against us. We have already agreed we do not use either chem or bio weapons against any country, which wasn't necessary, because we always had another option, should it be necessary. Now, Obama has removed that option. So what would our response be? Send in the troops? Shock and awe? We've seen already that isn't the most effective way to deal with these rogue countries.

Fortunately, we have not needed to use nucs since 1945...but the possibility of it happening has helped prevent many countries from attempting to attack us, knnowing that their country might actually suffer a much more severe retaliation. You don't stick your hand in the fire if you know you could get burned.

Obama thinks he can rid the world of nuclear weapons. What a fool he must be! For better or worse, that Pandora's box was opened years ago, and it can never be completely closed. The technology exists, and there will always be someone who will use it. Taking it off the table just makes us weaker and more vulnerable.

This guy is more dangerous than many of us ever imagined! He needs to be stopped! I would have no problem seeing him brought up on charges of derelection of duty, failure to uphold his oath of office, or possibly even treason.

There is a caveat. The countries must be in compliance with the nuclear regulatory commission or some such.
Which leaves Iran and North Korea out.

Big woop if somebody smuggles in a few liters of Ebola.

Its nothing but window dressing.

Now imagine if a Mexican cartel were to smuggle in a couple suitcase nukes and set them off.

One has to wonder what the response would be.

I suspect it would be an apology to Mexico.
