Thanks for demonstrating the abject failure of the welfare state.

Historically the movers and shakers own more of the wealth than the rest.
It is the nature of things.

This should be in the fifth grader thread.

Being that 50% of the electorate are on the gubmint dole in some form, only a diehard Obamatron could be surprised that the 50% which produces nearly nothing isn't accumulating wealth.

But, we have a member who also posts a graph showing that all the offshore wells are in deep water as proof that they aren't?

The results show the failure of the Republican Unregulated market and unregulated corporation policies, and the failure to deliver on their promises for jobs and income growth.

Trickle down doesn't work, particularly in a global market! It is a colossal failure. Cutting corporate taxes to maintain jobs, is a joke. Bush and the Republican Majority, created the biggest giveaway to the wealthy in history, tax cuts structured to advantage the wealthiest among us, whiole most from the right have been either too stupid, or too greedy, to understand or admit.

The result was the near BUSH DEPRESSION, which we are still struggling to avoid.

The chart provides undeniable proof.

Are you suggesting that the way to encourage business to retain and even hire more employees is to raise taxes on them?????

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is emerging as a fierce critic of the Obama administration's proposed escrow fund to handle damage claims against BP.

The Minnesota Independent reports that Bachmann spoke Tuesday to the Heritage Foundation, and badmouthed the idea. "The president just called for creating a fund that would be administered by outsiders, which would be more of a redistribution-of-wealth fund," said Bachmann. I would agree with many on the Left that there is a mal-distribution of wealth in our society. Many in entertainment and sports and business and others are way overpaid but it is not the 'free market' that is the route cause of this very serious problem as those on the Left want to blame. No, the market is merely a reflection of the wants and needs of the entire population as individuals and that is as it should be in a free society.

However, as I have contended many times here, the advent of the Welfare State along with the frontal attack on Christianity have corrupted and supplanted our traditional value system with one centered around money instead of God. Without God, anything goes as our dog eat dog world now exemplifies.

If correct the situation, we must restore the responsibilities and freedom to the individual and end the war on Christianity.

The root of the problem is government intervention in the the lives of the people and business.

The larger the government the worse it will become.

There is no war on Christianity.

Our founders made it very clear that there was to be a separation of church and state.

Christianity is having a war of it's own, seeking to dictate that all others subscribe to their version of right and wrong. Seeking to FORCE their will upon all others, by taking away each person's right to determine their own personal, private philosophy in their own lives.

We each have the right to make that decision for ourselves, providing we abide by the laws of the land, which many Christians refuse to respect, as they seek to invade personal, private freedoms of others, even killing people whose views of right and wrong are different from their own.

The Christian Coalition removed their own religious rights, when they invaded matters of the state, and sought to take the law into their own hands. No American has the right to take the law into their own hands, and must obey the laws of our country.

A market which is corrupt, is not a "Free Market" but a scam on the public. The Bush Administration corrupted the charge of government, and allowed it to become a tool of the wealthy, and corrupt, instead of a safe guard against corruption and exploitation, and by protecting corporations which destroy the earth with their filthy poisons, and corrupt policies, as they steal from the common man, both the treasures of the earth, and equal economic opportunities.

The job of government is to do for the common man, what cannot be done individually, by organizing policies for the common good.

The Republican policies have been to aid corrupt corporate powers in exploiting and abusing American workers.

Republicans have held a war on the Middle Class, using religious distracttions to mask their economic war on the Middle Class, who are too stupid to vote for their own best economic interests and opportunities.

And what about the encroachment of Islam into our society??
Foot baths being installed in schools. Prayer sessions. The talk about Sharia Law being being melded into American law in some areas.

Not much squawking going on about that. I cant wait till the atheists start going after Islam and their heads end up on pikes.

Personally I'll take Christians over Muslims any day in America.

Or perhaps you like the idea of someday having to wearing a Burka.

And, again, your ignorance of history is amazing. Our country was founded on the principle of God given rights of the individual and limited rights granted to the state by the citizenry.

Your Shangri La has the state tolerating a middling amount of "FREEDOM" as was done in the USSR. At the same time you blaspheme against people who brought civilization, culture, peace, prosperity, modern medicine, and law to vast parts of the world while turning a blind eye to the mass murderers on the statist left such as Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Che, Fidel, Lenin, Pot, Ceaucescu and others.

You have not one single crumb of proof that any such thing is going on, and this post of yours is just a load of crap.

We don't need you, or any other righties to keep us informed of the muck of the week being spread around by evil people like Limpballs, Beck, Hannity, Palin and the rest. We already know how many lies they tell. We already know that their intention is to dismantle the American Govenment completely.

You righties are all ready to throw away everything that our soldiers have given their lives to defend. One would think even people as hypnotized as the irrelevant, uninformed right on this forum, would understand the damages from Republican Policies of no corporate oversight, given what has happen to the Gulf.

You're all a lost cause, and a dangerous element in our society.

The separation of church and state seems to be falling short in certain areas where Islam is concerned.
Seems people fear offending them for some reason. Could have something to do with the honor killings that are occurring in the US. Cowards tend to run for cover when they find themselves dealing with a group that has no qualms about making an example of people.

Yes, I've watched that play out everytime the right fails to speak against religious nutjobs trashing our soldiers at their funerals.

Religious nutjobs, defending the cowards who shoot doctors as they hide in the bushes, and calling them heroes.

Attacking with racist language members of the Congress, and the President of our country, while Republicans pour gas on their dangerous fires, waving the snake flag, inciting more violence and publlic unrest.

And NOW!!!! Defending the POS that testified with nothing but CYA testimony, yesterday, who was then apologized to by the most powerful Republican energy policy wonk of the Republican party, and hearing other Republicans defending the POS that allowed this disaster in our Gulf.

Drill baby drill, where ever and however you want, and F. government oversight. That IS the Republican energy policy, which was crafted behind closed doors, by Dick Cheney. This IS Bush's second Katrina. the government was already dismantled by the Bush Administration, for eight years. too bad you righties were all supporting it throughout. Now, this president, and the Democratics must rebuild the entire Federal Government, while the nutty right is trying to destroy it completely through their nutty religious misinterpretation of the Constitution.
