We were told by the regime that without the stimulus bill UE could rise as high as 9%. WIth the stimulus we would top out at 8% and would be down to 7.5% by now.
Reality shows that UE rose to over 10% and did so almost immediately and stays perilously close to that to this day.
In short ... the regime's recovery plan delivered a result which made their worst case scary predictions of what would happen if we didn't have the stimulus plan seem rosy by comparison.
