<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">An unexpected prediction, and an even more surprising admission from Chris Matthews this morning . . .
Appearing on Morning Joe, the Hardball host predicted that Sarah Palin would seek the Republican presidential nomination, and painted a path to victory for her. In a moment of candor, Matthews admitted that "the media will try to destroy her, of course."

Matthews made his comments in the course of a pre-taped Mojo Midterm Exam segment that aired on today's Morning Joe. ...

Then came Chris' flight of frankness.

<span style='font-size: 17pt'>CHRIS MATTHEWS:</span> <span style='font-size: 14pt'>[Palin] maybe gets an early knockout. That's how I see her winning. An early knockout's the way she can win. The media will try to destroy her of course, but if she goes early, wins early, I think she can win it before anyone can stop her.</span></div></div>

"Destoy her"...like repeating her own words?
Palin has already said enough to put her out of the race.

Your reply was off topic and dismissive, but you knew that.

I f Palin was POTUS, it might be a good thing. It would finish off the GOP as a power for a long time. The only problem is that the USA would suffer , but as we see now, the GOP don't care.

Your reply was off topic, but you knew that. The subject isn't what kind of President she would make. The subject was the comment that the MSM will attack and attempt to destroy her.

Is that the job of the media, to destroy people? I always thought it was to report the news!

You are living in the past Steve.

MSNBC, via Mr Matthews, had a known policy that it considered it the networks jib to get Obama elected.

From there it's only logical to assume that they would consider it their job to keep him in power.

And, yes, the far left's hate machine has made destroying people an art form.

As my friend Q said:

Would anyone like to actually discuss MSNBC and their declaration that they will "DESTROY" those who oppose dearest leader?

Would any of you care to make a defense of the act?

What's that?

You don't?

You'd prefer to troll the topic off course and hope nobody notices the Freudian slip made by Matthews?
