Since 1967 no major league player has led their league in home runs, batting average, and runs batted in for an entire season when Carl "YAZ" Yastrzmski (SP?) achieved the feat.

No National League player has achieved the feat since Joe "DUCKY" Medwick in 1937.

Yaz hit 44 homers, had a .326 average, and 121 ribeyes. Medwick's numbers were 31/.374/154.

Currently Joey Votto leads the NL with 27 homers and in batting average at .326. He is third in ribeyes with 72, but is only 9 behind the leader.
