That was much worse than Wall Street predicted — or what the Commerce Department estimated in the recent Q2 GDP report. The new report, along with recent inventory data, suggest Commerce will revise down Q2 economic growth from the already-sluggish 2.4% annual rate to about 1% </div></div>

Let's add "POVERTY IS PROSPERITY" to the regime's motto along with "WAR ID PEACE" ... "IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH" ... and "FREEDOM IS SLAVERY" (http://blogs.investors.com/capitalhill/index.php/home/35-politicsinvesting/1950-q2-gdp-growth-could-be-revised-to-just-1-after-trade-data)

If they lie enough, maybe they think they can lie the economy back on it's feet.

Padding the numbers to make things sound better than they really are...

Pay attention, Q. The thread isn't that long. You could have scrolled up and found it yourself if you really wanted to know.

The Govt gave the numbers that the Fed and financing depts had estimated/ predicted. The numbers were out. The Govt didn't pad anything.

You want REAL lies.?...on tape?..indisputable proof of a Govt official lying to the whole nation??????????

You don't have to thank me for opening your eyes to the truth.

OK, Lying may be a strong word.

Perhaps you can explain how the government, who is supposedly using the best experts available to control the economy, can so consistently be wrong in their estimates (usually reporting numbers that are better than the actual situation), and then be forced to revise them downward a couple of months later. And while you are at it, perhaps you can explain why the unemployment numbers reported every month are way short of the actual number of people in the country who are out of work.

Are they trying to paint a better economic picture than the facts support? Or are they just incompetent?

It's called spoon feeding and the far left loves it.

You are so cute when you try to act indignant ... when the truth is you feel persecuted by simple truth.

Now, the topic is the regime spoon feeding it's base inaccurate data and then allowing the state ran media to slip the real figures out later with minimal fanfare.

It's not my fault that the left loves the lie and abhors the truth.

Indignant? you only wish....Here's your bottle, sorry no nipple. Bottoms up......Wow, you are thirsty today! Eeeeeasy on that stuff now, or it'll make you sound self rightous, authoritarian, insufferably overbearing, and laughingly predictable.......isn't it time to recycle that truck load of empties yet? Nope, I prefer truth and want the trucks to keep delivering.

Now, did you have anything to say about the regime's propaganda machine being exposed again?

Or, as I suspect, are you simply an Alinskyite agitprop who's here solely to deflect the conversation away from the fact of that exposure.
