The RW media have succeeded. People believe their lies. No matter how many times the POTUS says "I am a Christian.", there are those who do not and refuse to believe him.

Fox reinforces that view by giving crackpots airtime and NEVER [ almost never] correcting their lies.

1 - The Islamic faith says that Obama was born a Muslim.

2 - Why weren't you bothered when MSNBC gave similar funding to Obama and declared that it was it's job to make Obama successful?

3 - Why weren't you bothered when big pharma was donating millions to get Obamacare approved?

4 - Why weren't you bothered when BP was funding the Obama campaign?

5 - Why weren't you bothered when the Communist Chinese were funding the Clinton campaign?

Pleases cease and desist from your dishonest twisting as I said no such thing.

I am not a Muslim nor do I believe that someone doesn't have free will.

What I said, and what Graham said, was that according to the Islamic faith and law Obama was born a Muslim because his father was a Muslim.

Do not blame me for the intolerance of the religion of peace.

And, FWIW, if Obama has in fact converted to Christianity he is considered an apostate by Islamic law and should be executed.

This is the point where you shake in terror and grant a pass to the radical Muslims for their hate and intolerance.

Q...here's something for you to ponder. Several members of the MSM have stated that obviously a Christian. Well, if it's so obvious, why do they feel it necessary to conduct a poll on the subject? Did we have any poll to decide if RR, or GWB, or BC were Christians? None at all. There was no doubt. That is not the case with Obama.

According to their own faith, Mr Graham was correct. Just as a child born to a Jewish mother is Jewish (according to their law), a child born to a muslim father is a muslim. (according to their law)

Momar Khadafi stated that Obama was a muslim before he was even elected, and if I'm not mistaken, Obama himself talked about his muslim religion in his book. There is no record that he was involved at all in Christianity prior to his joining Rev. Wright's church in Chicago, which he did at the urging of his handlers in order to fit in to the black community. And Obama admitted that he didn't listen to Rev Wright in the years he attended the church.

I'm not saying he is or is not a Christian or a muslim. I don't care. I have enough problems with his politics that I don't need to worry about his religion.

But you have to admit there is a lot of information that raises a lot of questions on the subject.

Steve, you neglected a few points about Wright, his history, and his relationship with dearest leader:

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">From Wright and others, Obama learned that part of his problem as an organizer was that he was trying to build a confederation of churches but wasn’t showing up in the pews on Sunday. When pastors asked him the inevitable questions about his own spiritual life, Obama would duck them uncomfortably. A Reverend Philips put the problem to him squarely when he learned that Obama didn’t attend services. “It might help your mission if you had a church home,” he told Obama. “It doesn’t matter where, really. What you’re asking from pastors requires us to set aside some of our more priestly concerns in favor of prophesy. That requires a good deal of faith on our part. It makes us want to know just where you’re getting yours from.”

<span style='font-size: 11pt'>After many lectures like this, Obama decided to take a second look at Wright’s church. Older pastors warned him that Trinity was for “Buppies”–black urban professionals–and didn’t have enough street cred.</span> <span style='font-size: 14pt'>But Wright was a former Muslim and black nationalist</span> who had studied at Howard and Chicago, and Trinity’s guiding principles–what the church calls the “Black Value System”–included a “Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness.’”

The crosscurrents appealed to Obama. He came to believe that the church could not only compensate for the limitations of Alinsky-style organizing but could help answer the nagging identity problem he had come to Chicago to solve. “It was a powerful program, this cultural community,” he wrote, “one more pliant than simple nationalism, more sustaining than my own brand of organizing.”

<span style='font-size: 11pt'>As a result, over the years, Wright became not only Obama’s pastor, but his mentor.</span> The title of Obama’s recent book, The Audacity of Hope, is based on a sermon by Wright. (It’s worth noting, however, that, while Obama’s book is a coolheaded appeal for common ground in an age of political polarization, Wright’s sermon, “The Audacity to Hope,” is a fiery jeremiad about persevering in a world of nuclear arms and racial inequality.) Wright is one of the first people Obama thanked after his Senate victory in 2004, and he recently name-checked Wright in his speech to civil rights leaders in Selma, Alabama.</div></div>

And now you know ... the rest ... of the ... story. Good day. (http://infidelsarecool.com/2008/04/07/jeremiah-wright-former-muslim/)

Q </div></div>

ABsurd statement isn't it?

There is no point in it anyway. Thousands of Muslim Americans are born in this country every year. Any one of them could run for President, even though Obama is not a Muslim, but a Christian.

The right is doing what it always does, trying to take their easily led followers away from facts, which, among other things, include people like Alan Greenspan admitting that tax cuts do not pay for themselves, as Republilcan believe, never have, and that Bush's tax cuts during wartime, along with vast Republican spending, all with borrowed money, put this country into the debt hole we're in right now. He sstated that on Meet The Press.

He also said that it would be irresponsible not to end Bush's tax cuts for the top 2%.

Republicans now think that since their base is so ignorant, most of them listening to people like Limpballs, and Palin, and watching only their propaganda station, Fox, it will be a piece of cake fooling them into thinking that Republicans are fiscally responsible, even after they broke the earmark record, and spent like drunken sailors for the six years during the time that Bush was borrowing us into a financial disaster, impotent to deal with the worst economy since the Great Depression. The fact that Republicans started blaming President Obama within weeks of his inauguration, is a true commentary to their ability to grasp reality.

Our president was born in Hawaii, is a Christian, is brilliant, and loves our country as much as the rest of us, and given the mess he inherited, from Bush and the Republican failed policies, he is doing a fabulous job pulling the country out of the result of failed Republican policies, financial, economic, foreign and domestic.

Q

</div></div>

And Franklin Graham is a crackpot.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Controversy
Graham came under criticism for comments he made about Islam in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks when he referred to Islam as "a very evil and wicked religion." Further criticism came on April 18, 2003, when he preached at a Good Friday service at the Pentagon.[3] Rev. Franklin Graham has made anti-Islamic remarks saying "True Islam cannot be practiced in this country," Graham told CNN's Campbell Brown in December. "You can't beat your wife. You cannot murder your children if you think they've committed adultery or something like that, which they do practice in these other countries."[4][5][6] On April 22, 2010 after objections from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation and the Muslim group Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Pentagon rescinded his invitation from the Christian conservative National Day of Prayer Task Force to speak at a Pentagon National Day of Prayer event.[7] He still attended the National Day of Prayer meeting at the Pentagon, but outside in the parking lot with about a dozen people.

In the August 30, 2010 issue of the Time magazine, "Is America Islamophobic?" Frank Graham reportedly said that Islam "is a religion of hatred. It's a religion of war." Building the cultural center near Ground Zero, he says, means Muslims "will claim now that the World Trade Center property ... is Islamic land."[8]

On August 19, 2010, when asked by CNN correspondent John King if he had doubts that President Barack Obama is a Christian, Graham stated, "I think the president's problem is that he was born a Muslim, his father was a Muslim. The seed of Islam is passed through the father like the seed of Judaism is passed through the mother. He was born a Muslim, his father gave him an Islamic name."[9]

Graham has also been criticized for refusing to participate in 1994 peace negotiations between the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) and the Sudanese and Ugandan governments. [10] When Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir was indicted by the International Criminal Court in March 2009, Graham argued in an op-ed in The New York Times that Bashir should not be indicted for alleged genocidal acts because the indictment would lead to the collapse of the 2005 peace agreement.[11] People for the American Way, among others, criticized Graham for downplaying Bashir's war in mostly Muslim Darfur because of peace in the mostly Christian south of Sudan and because Bashir has allowed Graham and his Samaritan's Purse latitude in operating in Sudan.[12]

</div></div>I agree that we did not have any polls and to be honest I am not sure there is any competent reason why we are doing them now. Do I wish he was as clear cut a Christian as Presidents before him, yes, but I don't think that is newsworthy stuff. You know, at the same time I wish I could hear some outcry from Americans about Congress wasting federal tax dollars on indicting the Rocket. There is so much waste going on in this country and it is sickening to see Congress following suit.

You got that right. Our government can waste money on some of the stupidist things! Like I said, I have enough issues with Obama policies that his personal religion is not worth a second thought. And I have to wonder if the question exists in part because of stupid polls on the subject.

"Excues me, sir. Do you believe Obama is a muslim?"
"Well, I never really thought about it, but since you are asking, maybe there is something there."

We have far more troubling issues we need to be dealing with than which of his religious advisers sent him his daily devotional on hes Blackberry today.

Actually, he was born in Asheville, NC and raised nearby. Two different places, not that you would know or care. Asheville is where Barry and Michelle recently spent a quiet weekend getaway. It's home and second home to many very well to do and influential people. Boone is a college town (ASU) and is about two hours from Asheville.

Islam is not unique in claiming a large number of adherents to a false and evil creed nor even unique in its claim to transcendent source for its authority. The same criteria fits the leftist, commie pinko ideology to a tee. Both are corrupt to the core but are ignorant of reality. It is therefore no surprise that the Muslims find their strongest allies among the leftist here, both having their heads securely up their butts.

It's not hate. It's just the fact that 95% of your posts are nothing more than personal attacks against other posters. (you can include the one quoted above as just another example)

I actually feel sorry for you. All you ever seem to do is try to come up with what you consider to be cute or funny insults and attacks on other posters.

And I am smart enough to know that I couldn't teach anything to anyone who isn't interested in learning anything. Now, go down the hall to the bathroom and look in the mirror.
