Kind of funny how eight-figure, multi-millionaire talkers represent the "populist" Tea Party movement
April 15, 2010 10:43 am ET by Eric Boehlert

Fact: Glenn Beck made $32 million last year.

Fact. Sarah Palin has made $12 million since July.

Fact. Rush Limbaugh makes $28 million each year.

Combined, the three Tea Party talkers earned $72 million in the last year.

Fact: Half of all Tea Party supporters make $50,000, or less.

Happy Tax Day

Idiots who vote against their own best interests.

It all started with Reagan! Carter told them the truth, and they didn't like it, so they demonized him for laying the facts right on the table.

Now, after having seen our young soldiers, slaughtered in Iraq, for seven years, for the sake of the Bush Oil Agenda, and his power grabbing anti-Constitutional, no checks and balances, agenda, the right still hasn't awakened to the alarming facts of polution, our dying oceans, partly from Global Warming, which they deny, cancer causing corporate chemicals being spread all over our country....

The right has no clue!

Obviously, their financial success you have pointed out for us, represents a very large number of supporters. If people didn't support their programs, they wouldn't be making that kind of money.

FOX news ratings are so much higher than MSNBC, it has to make you wonder....which side has more people agreeing with them.

Rush has the highest rated talk show in the country. When the left tried their hand at it, they failed miserably. Could it be that their "message" didn't resonate with the public?

When you see things like this, it might do you well to stop for a minute and ask yourself why.

Rush, Beck and Faux are more popular with the sheeple for the same reason that reality t.v. shows top the ratings.
All glitz and bluster and no substance.

Matches the right's personality traits, perfectly.

Bush didn't just drive the car into the ditch, he destroyed the transmission and the motor.

Republicans will continue to lie about the jobs saved and created by the stimulus, and deny any good signs that are showoing up, and the sheep will vote against their own best interests, like always.

The sheep already voted against their best interest in 2008. And even most of them are starting to understand that the hope and change candidate was nothing but hot air and lies.

We will get over it eventually, but the damage is continuing right now, and it's going to take a lot to overcome it.

But I'm sure you will still be sporting your Obama/Obiden bumper sticker on your car for years.

Do you honestly feel that any man, given the cards that Bush dealt him, and facing a Party that was detrmined to sabotge everything he attempted,

Damn right people wanted to stop him. I just can't understand why you don't see it.

Petty little whiners.
Bush stole the election!
Bush spent the (so called) surplus.
Bush started a war.
Bush wasted money.
Obama it treated like a dog.
It's not Obama's fault. It's all Bush's fault.
Bush was responsible for everything that happened when he was in office.
Obama is responsible for nothing he has done since he has been in office.

They are so boringly predictable it's not even a challenge to deal with them any longer.

And although they refuse to see it, they are quickly becoming a dying breed. Obama supporters are like rats abandoning a sinking ship. But there will always be a few who will end up going down with the ship........the foolish ones.

Rabid Dog Briefly Mistaken for Tea Party Candidate
Receives Standing Ovation at Missouri Rally

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (The Borowitz Report) - A rabid Doberman Pinscher jumped on stage at a Tea Party rally in Missouri on Labor Day and barked at the crowd for nearly twenty minutes before people realized he was not a candidate.

The dog, later identified by its owner as "Mister Buster," held the crowd spellbound as he barked, growled, and frothed at the mouth, eventually receiving a standing ovation for his exertions.

Gwendolene Thomason, 42, a Tea Party supporter from Jefferson City, was one of the hundreds on hand who were convinced that the Doberman was a Tea Party candidate until he was outed as a dog.

"I liked what he had to say," she said. "He reminded me of Glenn Beck, only furrier."

The Doberman’s canine identity finally became clear when he lunged at a man in the front row and wrested a hamburger from his right hand, taking two of the man's fingers with it.

While the discovery that Mister Buster was not a Tea Party candidate disappointed many in attendance, Ms. Thomason held out hope that, dog or no, he might consider running for office at some point.

"I liked the way he bit off that guy's hand, and the way he did his business in the middle of the stage," she said. "We need more of that in Washington."

Elsewhere, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer named Wednesday a state holiday "to give me more time to think of what to say."

Now there is a disingenuous statement if I ever have seen one.
The deck was stacked exactly as Obama wanted it to be.
The Democrats own both houses. They use Deem and Past. The republicans are not a controlling power.

So if Obama and the dems are experiencing a problem getting their agenda passed it must be a problem on their end.

If I may be so bold as to use an age old adage.
Dont send a boy in to do a mans job.

LOL, I often have to pinch myself, too, Hondo.

It's hard to grasp the radical levels of hate and fear that Republicans incite.

Then, when I look a the nutjobs they defend, like Beck, for example, who said it took him about a year to start hating the families of the victims who died on 9/11.

They defend Sharron Angle, who clearly stated that the remedy, if Republicans didn't win, was the second amendment, and advised to "take out" Harry Reid!

Palin, and the lies about the "Death Panels" and her disgusting words, linking our President to terrorists, using cross hairs to target Democratics on her chart, and telling people to "Reload"

Gingrich, calling for revolution, slandering the president, speaking hate, day and night.

Cheney's daughter, comparing the training of American soldiers in surviving being waterboading, by their own fellow soldiers, with doctors present, to check vital signs, knowing they would not be drowned, to prisoners of war, who were tortured and abused with simultaneous multiple forms of torture, sleep depriation, loud noises, severe cold, humiliation, being tied down, by torture freaks in Egypt, and going through all of their torture methods, non stop, including multiple water-boarding, by threatening characters, so badly, we can't even take the chance of having most of what they did, revealed, because of considerations of National Security.

Rand Paul, who wants to reverse the Equal Rights Amendment.

Pence, Boehner, McConnell, the list goes on and on, ginning up racist behavior, bashing Democratics for a bail out, which they all voted for, Boehner, in tears, as he called for a non partisan bail out, now lays that all on President Obama, and Democratics.

there are many others, Repubicans who are either radical themselves, or exploiting radicals, for political purposes, and fail to speak against this growing, dangerous hate rhetoric, but instead, try to exploit it annd buid on it, for votes

This is the party who wants to destroy our public education system, ending opportunities for everyone, get rid of Social Security, Medicaid, etc., and, after they spent us into disaster, they stand in front of the cameras and compare our hurting citizens, who pay their salaries, American citizens, to stray dogs, actually using the metaphor, don't feed them, or they'll multiply.

"We didn't bring our guns, this time"

All of this has grown straight out of the the so called "Conservative" party, no greater oxymoron was ever uttered.

Bachmann, calling out for the Press to do an "Great" investigation of our own Senators and Congressmen and women, for anti-Americanism.

These sorts of fear mongering, threats, sexist and racist attacks, and hate messages, reduce our country's principles to a level of shame which I have not witnessed, since over what she was watching on television. that I haven't seen the days when I watched my Mother, crying, as she watched the Joe McCarthy hearings.

Aoo fo this disgraceful behavior, dangerous, and wasteful, to distract us away from pressing, critical real threats and bad circumstances, such as building an economy on renewable fuels, instead of denying the realities of Global Warming, in order to pander to the oil industry, and denying the health results from corporate pollution.

Protecting the inhumane practices of the Health Care Industry.

Protecting corps, like BP, and bashing our President for getting tough on them, blocking them from jumping out altogether with their usual tactics of delay, deny, and leave the destruction in their wake.

All of this kind of Republican Strategy for winning, and dividing, is holding us back, as China, charges forward, advances beyond us, to scoop what is our greatest opportunity to be the manufacturers and leaders in the Global Market, renewable, Clean energy, and the technology of the coming energy crises, "Flat, Hot and Crowded" indeed....Republicans have for decades held our country back, and will ruin our opportunities for advancement, as they exploit religious and radical hatred, divide our citizenry on social issues, the Republican led resistance, aagainst progress, peace and a healthy, prosperous future.

I have to remind myself, that above all else, they are firm supporters of a propaganda station, owned by a foreign meglamaniac, with ties to the worst of the worst, who pays the salaries of every nutjob who shares his efforts to destroy America, with their willing lies and hate, for money.

Now, they compare a peaceful man, who happens to be Muslim, to a clearly, mad evangelical, who is mentally off, full of hate, for gays, for Baptist, for women, and even for our own soldiers, which he has no concerns for, at all, as they defend the likes of Limpbaugh, Beck and Palin, the masters of hatespeak, too blind to see the reality behind their next exploitation, for money, and even on the anniversary of our national tragedy, 9/11, while they call those of us who believe in religious freedom, and the Seperation of church and State, and a government without shame, terrorist lovers.

It is truly beyond belief.
