One thingís very clear from the new findings: The Political Class doesnít like Palin. Seventy-eight percent (78%) of Political Class voters view her unfavorably, while 60% of Mainstream voters have a favorable opinion of the former governor. Eighty-one percent (81%) of voters in the Political Class say Palin is bad for the Republican Party, but 51% of those in the Mainstream say sheís good for the GOP.

And, while neither party generates a lot of confidence among voters when it comes to dealing with the economy (The number ONE issue with voters), it seems that Obama and the Dems fall short of the Reps in this area.

Interesting note in the article that the "But Bush" response seems to be alienating many of the independents. The old thought of "the buck stops here" is something this administration needs to understand. Blaming the party that has not had control for the last 4 years isn't cutting it any more.
