Anyway whats the reason that (i assume you meant European countries) dont invite American players to their meets?
By the way it seem to me that there are a lot of young billiard players around NYC but they are spanish immergrants and usally play straight Billiards, if they can find a billiard table /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif

"Provincial" is the word that comes to mind, nAz; those countries, which include Mexico, seem to feel that their national competitions should be limited to their nationals. That Piedrabuena, who just won the so-called U. S. National crown, is a good player, but was no more than middle-of-the-pack in those Carom Corner fields that were touring a few years ago.
