But what about 2012?

"It's on the table," veteran Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward told CNN's John King in an interview Tuesday on John King, USA. "Some of Hillary Clinton's advisers see it as a real possibility in 2012."

The scenario whereby Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would switch positions - has been bandied about by political observers for months, seen by some as a potentially savvy strategy to gin up excitement among what appears to be a depressed Democratic base.</div></div>

Politically speaking, it makes sense. Obama's approval ratings have been tanking ever since he took office. Hillary has a strong base of support. Adding Hillary to the ticket could bring more votes, and since I still don't see any strong candidate on the horizon to run against him (them), it could very well work.

I would prefer they just get rid of Obama and run H at the top of the ticket, but unless something very damaging to Obama surfaces in the next two years, that isn't likely.

The regime's problem would be getting Hillary to go for the deal.
