Saw that, incredible, huh?

I expect, if the Republicans win the Congress back, within a year, we'll be seeing another, "How could forty million people be so dumb" headline.

Insanity is believing that Carter negotiated the release of the hostages ... but they weren't released because Reagan negotiated the release of the hostages.

Insanity is believing that Carter lost in 1980 because he was busy negotiating the release of the hostages who were never released under Carter.

Insanity is believing that Carter negotiated the release of the hostages by granting illegal arms and technology sales which makes Reagan guilty of treason for granting illegal arms and technology sales.

Insanity is believing that even though free market policy such as those pursued by Truman, Ike, Kennedy, and Reagan led to prosperity they are somehow responsible for every recession.

Insanity is believing that even though free market such as those imposed under FDR, Nixon, Carter, and Obama led to recession and depression they will be resonsible for prosperity.

Insanity is believing that even though Marxism was the cause of the deaths of well over one hundred million people, the enslavement of over one billion people, and the creation of an ecological wasteland in every Marxist state ... it is the only way to bring prosperity to humanity and to save the Earth.

You see Snoopy ... I am on topic, and so are you.

Your thread title is ... "Insanity is........."

I described insanity ... and you made an insane post as evidence of what insanity is.

I then confirmed the insane nature of your claim.

You are making wonderful progress on this internet thing.

In 4 or 5 more years you might even be able to help Aitch learn to use the "QUOTE" function ... or, can we dare, teach Gee how to use spell check.

Let's review:

1961 tax cuts brought 12 years of prosperity.

It's reversal brought us stagflation and recession.

1981 tax cuts brought 8 years of prosperity.

It's reversal brought us recession and a series of state induced tech bubbles and housing bubbles in a lame effort to kick the corrections down the road.

2001 tax cuts brought us 6 years of prosperity.

Democrooks running congress brought us the great recession.

My idea is that we return to what works and creates prosperity.

Your idea is to take that which causes recession and double down.

Which sounds insane?

President George W. Bush entered office in 2001 just as a recession was starting, and is preparing to leave in the middle of a long one. Thatís almost 22 months of recession during his 96 months in office.

<span style='font-size: 17pt'>His job-creation record wonít look much better. Because the size of the economy and labor force varies, we also calculate in percentage terms how much the total payroll count expanded under each president. <span style='font-size: 20pt'>The current President Bush, once taking account how long heís been in office, <u>shows the worst track record for job creation since the government began keeping records. </u></span>ĖSudeep Reddy </div></div> wsj (http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2009/01/09/bush-on-jobs-the-worst-track-record-on-record/)

That would be an interesting chart if it covered the last 10 years. It is virtually useless since it only covers one year of the Bush administration....which began a full year after the Dems took control of both houses of congress.

Well, that pic shows us that the Dem controlled Congress had the worst year of the past 10 (1/08 to 1/09). Not really Obama's fault but definitely the fault of the Democrats. The Reps were pretty erratic from Mid 03 through 06 when the Dems took over. Nothing there shows anything different than what is happening right now with Obama.

Q

</div></div>The right doesn't even realize that the Dems did not take over until 2007! I don't know why the right refuses to admit that by January of 2007, the entire financial collapse was, and had been, a done deal.

Bush and Paulson, and Greenspan knew damn well what was coming, and thought they could hold it all off unti after the next Presidential election.

The Democratic Congress, was in shock, by the time they got all of the information that had been kept under wraps from them by the Administration.

Why else did Paulson, have to get on his knees to get Pelosi to go along with TARP!

These righties on here still don't get it, Trickle down doesn't work, and the money we could have been spending on better education, more American students working on technology, cleaner renewable fuels, etcc., was all wasted on warring in the Middle East, on oil contracts, for the administration's cronies...which is running out anyway, and does jothing for jobs here, or for our problem with terrorist financing nations.

We could have been the tech leaders of the world...if Reagan had lost to Carter, who was smart enough to know what was coming. But Reagan was all for the corporate pigs, and against anything that protected Middle Class America.

Even Clinton, while a thousand times better than either of the Bush idiots, or Reagan, did not do enough about our oil situation. Or about the out-sourcing of American jobs.

You can see it everytime we get just a smidge of economic gains, UP GOES THE OIL PRICES!

OPEC and China, OWN US.

Thank you George Bush, and the Repiglican, earmark record breaking, blank check majority Congress.

No society can avoid Depression, when the top one or two percent, are the only ones moving forward. It does not happen, and in spite of it, the right is so stupid, they want more tax cuts for the wealthy, after already costing us trillions, in revenue.

Republicans are fighting for the Bush Tax cuts for the wealthy, costing us billions upon billions more of lost revenue, when the wealthy do not spend their money, and surely not on jobs....they are the very one's out-sourcing our jobs, and stealing our money...and Republicans are fighting to give them more, and fighting doing away with subsidies and tax breaks for the very ones who give out jobs away to slaves on the other side of the world.

Over seventy percent, of spending, comes from the Middle Class, and the Republicans have forced the Middle Class into poverty, or close to it.

That is why this collapse is like nothing we've ever been through, becaause after eight years of Bush, and more than that of Republican control of congress, the Middle class has been declining in their wages throughout.

Then, the right, turns right around and blames it all on Democratics!

UNBELIEVABLE!

Even if he reads it, he still won't get it. His truth blocker has been firmly in place on here for over a decade!
