Not sure I agree with all the choices...but it's still a nice walk down memory lane.
No memories for me. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Sorry about that, young man. Anyone who missed the 60's and 70's missed out on the greatest era in rock.

THANKS, for that link !!!
I dig it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrXXx9706tc)
That chick's dancing reminds me of Elaine from Seinfeld. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
Elain's dancing!!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQu_NLRvULM) "It's more like a full-body dry heave set to music" /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

funny clip !!!
I never could get all my body parts to sync with the beat.....but
I do a hell of a two-step waltz....not quite the "Texas Two-Step"
as practiced by GWB...( I should get a gold star, for managing to work GW into my reply).....
I don't dance at all. I am no good at any of it and thumbs up on the GW reference.

Satisfaction being #1 from the whole 60's? Not sure that I agree with that. It's too much of a time span and styles of music changed from the early 60's to late 60's. Interesting choices tho'......

Good list, but where the heck is "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay"? "The Wanderer"? "Mack the Knife"?
I thought "dock of the Bay" would be top five.
Also "Yesterday" was rated way too low.
The Beatles' greatest song.
I love Doc Severinsen's version of Mack the Knife. Al Hirt did a pretty cool version himself. Probably not your cup of tea though. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

What makes you say that?
Although I did love Bobby Darin's version.
My tastes in music covers more genres than most , I imagine.
I mainly dislike most heavy metal, most rap, most New Country,
most MOR pop rock.
My tastes include honky tonk, classic country, classic rock, classic blues, modern blues, classic bluegrass, modern blegrass,
folk country, all types of jazz, some classical, some opera, houserockin.
Lately, I've been getting into the crooners from the 40s and 50s,
Sinatra, Torme, etc.
Must be my age.
