View Full Version : Wash Post First to Call for The Moron Not to Run

The whole damn country is fed up with having The Moron occupying the Oval Office, representing our great country and the very liberal Washington Post is among the first to call for him not to run in 2012.

How much long before a delegation from Congress heads up to the WH to seeks his resignation under threat of impeachment for gross incompetence.

"impeachment for gross incompetence"? Good luck with that.Every president in the last 30 years had gross incompitence at some point of their term. Impeachment is reserved for criminal behavior. B. Clinton could not be impeached for the B. J. incident, untill he lied under oath about it.

Keith,
I see you're a new member. Welcome to the forum.

We have a slew of RW members on this site, who parse out from RW pundits a barrage of exaggerations, and lies, and then either change the context, or misrepresent them entirely, such as writings things written by one RW pundit, and portrying it as an entire Newspaper, taking a some sort of stand, which it has not done at all.

Or they will post something stating the views portrayed as views of the entire country, when in fact, they are not.

I don't usually read what they post here, for that reason.

Usually if I see a thread title, like this one, which is absurd on it's face, and I will launch a new thread, to correct the lie, but in blatant lies, I occasionally repond directly, and call it what it is, immediately, and leave it at that, supposing that those who do any reading, or research, will know themselves, that it is just another RW lie, nevertheless, if not exposed, it bcomes the general lie, and is refered to over and over as proof, of some of their irrational views.

This time it is from a forum member who for years, had a by-line, praising a murderer, the kind of murderer, who hid in the bushes, and killed an innocent doctor, who provided abortions for women whose lives were at risk, if they carried their babies to term, or the fetuses, were doomed to suffer, and then die.

Your post is correct. Impeachment, if ever it was in order, was surely in order for George Bush, who did infact commit treason, and hos recently admitted to it.

there have since been cries that he be given the legal remedy, for his illegal acts, and there are many, and they have been proven, over and over. One would think, such proof, would be the big story this week, and hence, this thread is I suppose meant to distract us from what the Washington Post, was actually buzzing about, all week.

I agree with what you have written.

I am of the opinion that President Obama, has done a good job by removing the immediate threat of the Bush Depression.

By committing to sending our country in the correct direction, in our foreign affairs, by trying to ennd two wars, with some dignity, end the Bush Tax cuts as they were originally meant to end, through expiration, Give more aid to our Veterans, which Republicans seek to reduce, feed hungry children, also, which Republicans do not want to do, and strengthen protection of our environment, by moving the country toward more research and development, of clean and renewable fuels, and he works to shore up the economy, and promote job growth, which has already succeeded in job creation, far more successful than anything we got from Bush, but for which the right, continues to deny, with absurd statements, such as this thread title.

Jobs, were never expected to make a speedy recovery, from the Bush Recession, by any of the respected Economist, from the right, or the left, but this same cabal on here, from the right, which defended every single war crime commited by George Bush, and didn't comment at all about halliburton, electrocuting our troops, or gang raping young women, and hilding them against their will, refuses to give this president even a fair chance, at turning around the worst legacy, of any president, since Roosevelt inherited The Great Depression.

On a huge number of issues, this president has accomplished a great deal, given that Republicans have held the entire recovery up, with their unwillingness to cooperate, for political purposes, and their determination to obstruct the recovery, at every turn, for poiltical purposes...

Just a brief overview, to give you some idea of what to expect around here.

Thanks for you input,

Gayle in Md.

It is clearly a LIE to write a thread title, that convey's that an entire Newspaper, is calling for the president to step down, whenn the Op-Ed which you base this on is clearly just the opiniion of two RW Op-ed writers....not that of the entire newspaper.

The Washington Post, has not called for a damn thing.

You portrayed an op-ed, from two people, as representing the position of the entire newspaper.

I have to agree with you here.

The whole country isn't sick of the moron.

He can always count on you, Aitch, and Woofie.

Oh ... race baiters like Jesse, Al, Calypso Louie, and King Malik Shabazz. That's seven.

Let's not forget:

- The senator found to have had a gay male prostitution ring and marijuana cultivation setup in his condo ... Barney Frank.

- Impeached for bribery federal judge Alcee Hastings.

- William Ayers. Barry's buddy who gives Barry something in common with Osama ... they both have friends who bombed the Pentagon.

That gives us ten.

Toss in the ex Goldman-Sachs employees and we can call it an even 100.

If you think these two are Democratics, you're even nuttier than I thought.

They sold out long ago, for the bucks. They're pollsters, who appear most often on Fux Noise, in order to pose as Democratics, for the buck, in an effort to appear, for Fux, as pundits from the left...

Just another oft used RW trick.

Sort of like Scarborough, who pretends that Barnacle Bill, and Harold Ford are Liberals, same thing with Dickhead Gregory, who does the same thing. He plants the supposed Democratic, harold Ford, a DINO if ever one lived, incapable of making a coherent point, and parades hin as a panel member from the left.

These two have been bashing Obama since weeks after his election.

I don't know why I ever bother with you. Nothing you ever write here has any real teeth to it, just another parroting of the filthy politics, and lies, from the right, that is patently false.

There was one accurate paragraph in their article:

"Whatever the caliber of Obama's tactics, they might achieve some short-term success. The Republican Party has offered no narrative or broad solution, and it has campaigned exclusively to take advantage of the negative environment. It contributes merely a promise of a more hostile environment after Tuesday."

It will be interesting to see how the Republicans can manage to cover their asses.

On the one hand, they have been bought by corporate interests, who they will have to promote and protect, and see that the money keeps on flowing to the rich, their usual socialism for the rich.

On the other hand, the so called Tea Partiers, say theiir movement is against corporate interests controlling Washington D.C.

Seems to me, if these RW Tea party Candidates who won, expect to get the same votes next time, there is going to be a fracturing war in that party.

It's already beginning. Palin is about to get her head chopped off by the Republican Party, lol..

Let the games begin. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

This mid term loss, is going to end in better Democratic prospects in 2012, IMO.

Come on Steve.. you know that is just a figure of speech. It is interesting, however, that the Dims aren't calling for The Moron's head in spite of the mess he has made of everything foreign and domestic. Maybe it's because they do not tolerate decent and will follow their leader over the cliff before admitting error.

Maybe it's because none of you ever admitted to the width and breadth of the colossal mess he inherited from Bush, and the complete obstructionism of the Republicans, that he has had to deal with since before he got his clothes moved into the White House.

How do you get out of a collapsed economy, when the predecessor broke the bank, before he left?

Did Bush do the right thing when he gave away 800 billion dollars to the banks, with no strings attached? who do you think rescued us from the worst depression in our history, when we were on the brink?

Do you think we should be subsidizing corporations who outsource our jobs, to slave labor on the other side of the world, and hide their money offshore, so they don't have to pay taxes on their profits????

Bush cut taxes, while fighting two wars? Bush doubled the deficit.

Did that have anything to do with this president, being able to turn this economy around, faster, when Bush left us burried in debts!!!!

Blowing money on Nation Building, on the other side of the world, as our people here were loosing ground?

If you think that reducing Government spending, is the ONLY way out of this mess, You're fooling yourself....

The wealthy have already cleaned out the Middle Class, why do they desereve an extended tax cut, that was supposed to expire?

CBO proved, they don't spend their tax cuts...and for the most part, except for about two percent, they don't create jobs, here, either.

Not one respected economist, predicted a speedy recovery, not one. Bush put us in a trick bag.

Why do you so fiercely refuse to deal with reality?

Why would anyone want the "colossal mess" of a stock market at 13,000 when they could have one at half of that?

Why would anyone want the "colossal mess" of a nation with faith in it's future when they should be made aware that the regime will never rest as it continues it's war on capitalism?
