Hi bobby,

Its good that you have shared all your pool stories in that book. I am happy for you but I think the link you've posted here is dead because i am not able to open it.

You just need to delete that comma which is right after the link.

Tes, Bibbt is from Memphis the uld days! Knew him, played him and he is very good. Most of his time was just after I left Memphis but I remember him well.

I played him in a dive bar on the north side of Springfield, Ill. We played on a bar table. How unlikely is that? I was sitting in the pool room in downtown Springfield on a Saturday afternoon and Big James came walking in.

About 15 or 20 years ago I played in the Memphis "High Pockets" 9-ball tournament and encountered a guy who claimed to be Bobby Livingston's younger brother. He did look like him (had the face and eyebrows), and was rated 9 or 10, so I assume he was telling the truth.

Anyway, he said that Big James had gotten on drugs and was skinny as a rail.

He also said that Bobby Livingston was living in Florida. Has he turned up in your neighborhood?

You guys have the right guy! He was actually known from going from a banger to a damn good player at the speed of light. I think James named him "Cotton" if I am not mistaken. After early on, he was always on the road reputation for a smart survivor. I think he played jacked up as well as anyone at that time.
