I actually think Obama did the right thing in pushing for the compromise tax bill he signed today. He might have got the message that working for the good of the country, rather than trying to impose your will on others, is the way to govern.

Conspicuously absent at the signing was the soon to be ex House Speaker.

I'm very disappointed in the republichickens for caving in the way they did.

I'm hoping it was just a carrot so Obama would feel that he could actually act like a POTUS should.
