I may be looking to purchase a cue stick for my 5 year-old nephew. I was thinking of a 4-Piece Cue Stick so tha the he could feel comfortable with it and then add pieces accordingly. What do you guys think? Any specific cue stick models that you would recommend?

Thanks, Tony

Why not get one made for kids? Probably much better balanced than just using parts of a cue.

Here's an option that comes in two different lengths just for kids.

I might go with low end a lazer cue(if they exist) if it was a gift for a kid. Kids love stuff that lights up. And if he doesnt just wanna shoot you with it....the lazer might help as a reference.

I got a 32 or 36 inch one from academy sports for my 3 yr old. it is just a plain one piece cue, it makes a good starter stick for kids. My daughter was 8 before I got her a 2 piece 48 inch cue.
