Casey Brezik... doubt you've heard the name. Google it, and explain why this hasn't been covered

Easy. The MSM does not promote any story that might make the left look bad.

This story, if made well known, might accidentally cast jihadist radicals as if they were somehow rude.

First, people probably applauded an assassination attempt on NIXON.

Ok, that was uncalled for and a sick joke.

But let's walk the cat back here.

Nobody died, no guns were used, no government official was hurt or endangered, the perp was clearly psychotic, it was a backwater state far from the media strongholds on either coast, AND...

Tuesday when this happened was the last big primary day, including the day of Christine O'Donnell's major upset win over Mike Castle, and all the other primary results of the day.

You may remember that day-- it was wall-to-wall primary coverage. An obscure failed assault by an obscure person against an obscure official who wasn't even there at the time (Nixon, governor of MO? Who knew?) didn't make the cut.

ALL KINDS OF THINGS DON'T MAKE THE CUT, EVERY DAY. Especially when the perp barely makes a non-fatal cut on a no-name community college person.

Ask yourself why SOME (white, usually blond) women's abductions or going missing make endless headlines, whereas this happens every day somewhere? Editorial news judgment, without any political consideration.

Kind of an elitist statement, don't you think?

Or is nothing newsworthy unless it happens in one of the leftist states, or involves a leftist politician?

Why not admit that you are just as biased as the infamous Gee and her hatred of people who live in the south or in the "flyover states"?

Ask yourself why blacks dont make continual headlines unless a white cop is involved.

Now if that statement were actually the case consistently, I'd accept your otherwise very well thought out and rational answer.

Meaning no harm, but isn't that the reality seen by the media elites? If something happens in LA or NY, it's news to the suits. If somewhere else, not so much.

We had two police killed in the line of duty here a couple of days ago, and it is big local news, including an outpouring of grief and memorial for their massively police-accompanied hearse trip for their funeral. Did it make the networks' coverage (don't know, I don't watch network news)? If not, was that bias, or because it was a local story of little national importance?

The primaries occurring that day threw almost everything else off the coverage, because the media tends to play a big story big, and they do one at a time. That's the simple fact.

That's correct. There is hardly a day that goes by where there is not a shooting, stabbing, robbery, etc., in the black community, black on black, and it simply doesn't rise to a level of newsworthiness according to predominantly white broadcasting.

Just like missing (kidnapped, raped, slain) black girls.

In fairness I suppose I'm not too awfully far away, but yes that made big news here and and national broadcasts I've seen as well (assuming you mean the one in St Petersburg).

Little more to it than that. Actually his facebook page is still up if you care to gain a little enlightenment on him.

But then again, the fact that you (me, we, us) knew/know so little about this/him was sort of the point in the first place.

The marketing of sensationalism sells.

Woman attacked 'for being John McCain volunteer'
Sophie Tedmanson

A young John McCain campaign volunteer has claimed a knife-wiedling robber attacked her and carved a 'B' onto her face when he realised she supported the Republican presidential candidate.

Ashley Todd, a 20-year-old from of College Station, Texas, told police she was attacked while trying to withdraw money from an ATM in Pittsburgh and, when the robber saw a McCain bumper sticker on her car, he punched her, pushed her to the ground and carved a ‘B’ into her cheek.

"He continued to kick and punch her repeatedly and said he would teach her a lesson for supporting John McCain," said Pittsburgh police chief Nate Harper.

Republican Officials Attacked and Injured in New Orleans
By Humberto Fontova
Friday night a week ago in New Orleans, a petite female political operative and her boyfriend were attacked and seriously injured by a vicious group of crazed cowards who shrieked political insults while pouncing. After the pummeling, the female and her boyfriend were left, collectively, with a compound leg fracture, a concussion, a broken nose, and a broken jaw. No robbery occurred.

<span style="color: #000099">There are more. In every case the MSM said nothing because it makes the left look bad. The only time the say anything is when they try to blame it on the Tea Party and then find out it was one of their own, then they cover it up in a hurry.</span>

Here's the one thing I didn't mention so far.

THERE WAS NO VIDEO OR AUDIO OF THE ATTACK OR ITS AFTERMATH.

That one was a false self-arranged attack (http://www.wtae.com/r/17789356/detail.html)

Even Michelle Malkin stayed away from that, for good reason (http://michellemalkin.com/2010/04/13/a-cautionary-note-about-the-beating-in-new-orleans/)

Malkin says even Fox News didn't cover it (quoting the angry letters she got).

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> I’m getting bombarded with angry e-mails about the terrible assault on Louisiana GOP Gov. Bobby Jindal’s campaign fundraising chief, Allee Bautsch, and her boyfriend in the French Quarter of New Orleans over the weekend.

“Why haven’t you reported on it?!”

“Left Wing Media Causing Violence Against GOP Official & Boyfriend Savagely Beaten For Wearing Palin Pins!!”

“Why is Fox news not reporting on this?…Where’s Michele (sic) Malkin and Ann Coulter?”

“…you should be shouting from the rooftops about this assault on Palin supporters in New Orleans that is not even mentioned by LSM”

Don’t lose your heads, people. </div></div>
