2009.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">On Monday, a radical cleric issued a statement rejecting a two-state solution for Israel-Palestine, <u>suggesting that one of the two parties involved in the conflict should be made to find a homeland "elsewhere." Strangely, conservatives, who can usually be counted on to condemn such statements, have thus far been silent about this denial of the right of two peoples to two states in the Holy Land.</u>

But perhaps it's not so strange, <span style='font-size: 11pt'>given that the cleric in question is Mike Huckabee, </span>the former Arkansas governor, non-ordained Southern Baptist pastor, and former (and likely future) Republican presidential candidate. Speaking to reporters while on a tour of Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem, <span style='font-size: 14pt'>Huckabee insisted that there is no room for a Palestinian state "in the middle of the Jewish homeland" and that the international community should consider giving the Palestinians a state some place else.</span>

<u>Huckabee's visit is being sponsored by the Jerusalem Reclamation Project, a pro-settler group whose goal is to take over Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem in order to prevent any division of sovereignty over the city, parts of which both Israelis and Palestinians claim as their capital.</u> A recent Ha'aretz article reported that the Jerusalem Reclamation Project's U.S. affiliate, American Friends of Ateret Cohanim, "sends millions of shekels worth of donations to Israel every year for clearly political purposes, such as buying Arab properties in East Jerusalem." The story noted that, while American Friends of Ateret Cohanim is registered as a nonprofit organization, its financing of settlements in East Jerusalem raised questions about the group's tax-exempt status. </div></div>

Oh how woefully ignorant of mid east history you are.

There was a two state solution.

The palestinians were granted a homeland.

It was far larger than Israel, and was called Trans-Jordan.

What happened was that palestinians inside Israel were approached and offered a deal ... leave Israel and allow the Arab armies to come in and slaughter the Jews, and they would receive the Jewish lands.

Those who refused and stayed are full Israeli citizens and enjoy freedoms unheard of in the Arab world.

Those who accepted the deal were betrayed by the Arabs after their humiliating beat down. Trans-Jordan refused to accept them and they became the first wave of palestinian refugees.

The became refugees not because of any actions by Israel, but because of their own intent to profit from genocide.

My suggestion to you is to learn what you are talking about and stop being spoon fed by the hate mongers occupying your tiny nation.

My statements however are based on an investigation of reality:
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">"In the midst of wanton aggression, we yet call upon the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve the ways of peace and play their part in the development of the State, on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its bodies and institutions....We extend our hand in peace and neighborliness to all the neighboring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">"The first of our fifth column consists of those who abandon their houses and businesses and go to live elsewhere....At the first signs of trouble they take to their heels to escape sharing the burden of struggle."/

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">[i]"The Arabs of Palestine left their homes, were scattered, and lost everything. But there remained one solid hope: The Arab armies were on the eve of their entry into Palestine to save the country and return things to their normal course, punish the aggressor, and throw oppressive Zionism with its dreams and dangers into the sea. On May 14, 1948, crowds of Arabs stood by the roads leading to the frontiers of Palestine, enthusiastically welcoming the advancing armies. Days and weeks passed, sufficient to accomplish the sacred mission, but the Arab armies did not save the country. They did nothing but let slip from their hands Acre, Sarafand, Lydda, Ramleh, Nazareth, most of the south and the rest of the north. Then hope fled."

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">"We will smash the country with our guns and obliterate every place the Jews seek shelter in. The Arabs should conduct their wives and children to safe areas until the fighting has died down."

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">"Since 1948 we have been demanding the return of the refugees to their homes. Haled al Azm, the Syrian Prime Minister in 1948/49</div></div>

Even the most cursory Google search will reveal the truth...if you have the courage to remove the covers long enough to see the world as it truly is.

Not at all.

That's why the Israelis have been kicking the Arab's arses for over 60 years.

The palestinians WERE NOT invaded by Israel.

No amount of bleating will change that.

Snake then destroyed the real tape.

There is an archeological dig occurring just outside of the temple mount.
It appears to prove that the Jews inhabited the area first.

So based on your vacation logic Q... .

Yet, Helen Thomas, was fired, and her entire career ended, for suggesting that the actual OCCUPIERS, should leave.

Americans have paid a very high price, for Republican policies, over the decades, which supported dictators, propped them up, armed them, trained their armies, sold them weapons of Mass Destruction, gave them billions in support, as they held their populations hostage.

Republicans have spread WMD around the world, and financial support for dictators, which in the end, used all of the weapons, and training, to kill Americans, later, up the road.

Billions to Egypt every year, lands directly in the hands of the American corporate CEO, War Profiteering MICC, for Weapons and instruments of WAR.

Republicans are the living nightmare, of Eisenhower's greatest warning, and owrry, the coming dangers of The Military Industrial, (Congressional) Complex, the word, "Congressional" deleted from his speech, when he made his out of fear of backlash outrage from his Republican Party, according to his daughter.

Gays, Guns and God, quite a contradictory combination, isn't it?

Every single nightmare we currently face, is a result of Republican policies.

At the time, the Israeli's were, the invaders, and are, the occupiers.

According to the position of the right, Europe should come to America, with their combined forces, and demand that we give our country, back to the American Indians.
