old cue ?

I have an old cue that has a Griffin on the butt, it is approx. 22 yrs. old. I bought it in Lake Charles La. I paid $236.00 with hard case, new. I have no idea who the manufacturer is. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

If it is a standing griffin, that is the old logo for Adams cues.
