Now Democratic lawmakers from another state seem to be leaving their homes for Illinois.

House Democrats in Indiana are leaving the state rather than vote a bill that would modify collective bargaining for some workers there, according to the Indianapolis Star.

A source told the paper that Democrats from that state's lower chamber are headed to Illinois, though the paper notes that some might go to Kentucky.

Only two of the 40 Democrats were on the Indiana House floor when the chamber convened Tuesday.

The lack of Democratic House members showing up at the Capitol in Indiana prevents the Republican majority from having a quorum.

Wisconsin Senate Democrats used the same political move to prevent Republicans from passing legislation that would remove collective-bargaining rights from state workers. The Wisconsin elected Democrats have been in Illinois since Thursday.

Indianapolis Star reporter Mary Beth Schneider is updating readers on Twitter about the Indiana standoff.

Hey maybe we're onto something here. What if we run them out of all 57 states at the same time then just lock the doors when they leave?

Leftists live to thwart the will of the people and force their warped world view upon the rest of us.

And yet, we have leftists right here who constantly cry about how they think the right is trying to impose their will on everyone. Strange how they can "totally ignore" the plain facts when they are right in front of them.

Wisconsin bill clears the assembly!!!

Its crunch time baby!!!!

Yes, even with the votes in hand they bum-rushed it through, not even recording all the votes. Evidently, once they reached the threshhold of passage, they wanted to spare some of their own GOP assembly-men from the political consequences of voting yes.

Even still, this is not crunch time. In a bicameral legislative situation, as Wisconsin has, let me remind you that the bill must also pass the Senate there, or just as is the case with US House votes, its passage in just one branch of the leg is meaningless.

However the bill can be broken down into 2 parts and the non budgetary part of it can be passed. That means the collective bargaining section as it is non budgetary.

They consider that the nuclear option. However it can be done.
