I have seen several articles about the rise of women heroes and the emasculation of men and the problems that model portends. I haven't taken a count but I would bet that there are more female protagonists in TV series than male, even in those of action.

No doubt that we are entering uncharted waters and IMO, waters that will drown our society in confusion and weakness and a society that will not have the strength to fight when it ultimately becomes necessary to fight real masculine enemies. Providing good gender role models must be a top priority to insure the survival of the good society.
