Considering they engaged in their own titanic sized stimulus through massive infrastructure spending, I'd guess not.

The main cause of the fall of empires is imperial over-reach, unsustainable military adventurism. That's what the Chinese know, since they are a smart far-sighted people.

When Nixon asked Chou En-Lai (sp?), second in command to Mao, what he thought of the French Revolution, he replied 'it is too soon to tell.' They are subtle thinkers, using century-long or longer timelines.
