This from the man who on the campaign trail gave a speech telling Americans they needed to give up their SUV's ... then left and got in GMC Envoy V8 ... then had the audacity to explain to all the little Obamatrons that a V8 Envoy was in fact a "HYBRID" because it would also run on ethanol, ignoring the fact that the V8 Envoy wasn't a flex fuel vehicle either.

Gas and Fuel Economy

The 5.3 V8 was built as a gasoline model and a flex-fuel model designed to run on unleaded gasoline or up to 85 percent ethanol. GMC engines of this type also featured a proprietary active fuel management system, which allows the engine's computer to shut down valves in certain driving conditions to increase fuel economy. Motortrend's website estimates the gas mileage for the engine was about 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway.

Vehicles With These Engines

GMC used the 5.3 engine in multiple 2005 truck and SUV models including the Envoy and the Sierra. Chevrolet also incorporated the 5.3 V8 in the Suburban, Tahoe and Avalanche with flex-fuel versions of the engine being used in the 2005 Silverado. Cadillac also used the 5.3 V8 in a two-wheel drive version of the Escalade for the company's 2005 model year.

Willingly, or unwittingly, you are using a very deceptive tactic.

Although it is true that GM built a flex fuel 5300 Vortec and it is also true that they used a 5300 Vortec as an option in an Envoy ... it is also true that they built a non flex fuel 5300, and that was the only 5300 variant used in the Envoy.

And, FWIW, you seem to have fallen into the same habit as the cabal ... that being not reading what you link to. If you would have done so you would have seen this:
