It would be nice if some of these tours would start heading out West, like Shannon Daulton's new tour, or the Joss tour, or something, ANYTHING...Pool is so DEAD out here. Were all dried up!!! Shooter's in Riverside has 2 good tournament's a year and Hardtimes, Belflower sometimes throw's great event's, but we are in desperate need of some type of successful, consistant, money added tour out here!!! Pool needs to be brought back to the West Coast, desperatly. Help!!!!!!!!!!

I am far from an expert on these things, but from what I have observed, it just takes a few people to get together and put in the long hard work needed to start a tour. Arrangements have to be made with PH's for the use of the facilities, and part of the money, and sponsors for the remainder of the money. It is a lot of hard work with very little, if any, return.
It is not likely that the other tours will expand very far from their home areas. You will have to find some one, or a small group, in your area, willing to put in the time and effort to start a tour.
Hopefully some one on the board, involved in running a tour, can give you more specific information.

Good morning:

Why not move East? The East coast is where the action is ...

u have a nationally known promoter of pool tournaments living in Los Angeles. He is reputable. If he is not doing it means there may be difficulties.cheers
