People who yap about creating an environment that supports business, when that is such a ridiculous argument, given that corporations do NOT leave this country for any other reason, than to take advantage of slave labor elsewhwere, and have more opportunities to CHEAT on taxes, which they have been doing throughout the existance of this country, regardless of tax policies.

We do create an environment that supports the small business person, but it is the huge corporate multi-national conglomerates, that are stealing from America, left and right...shipping our jobs offshore, and hiding their fair share of taxes.

I am truly sick of this totally fake argument....I've posted link after link, that proves that these multi-national corporations don't pay taxes!!! Even the few who operate just in America, cheat....I have posted numerous Government Documents, and chart after chart....that proves it.

Few things in life are as frustrating as the RW BS about economics....lie after lie, absurdity after absurdity....

Corporations have had lower and lower tax rates, for decades, now, and there is absolutely NO evidence that they have favored decisions that would create American jobs, here, over sending our jobs out of this country to cheap slave labor.

What Republicans actually want is slave labor right here in America. IMO, they are traitors to their country. They are not focused on expanding our economic security, here, at all.

I, personally, find this behavior extremely unpatriotic and indicative of pure greed. They outsource our jobs, and then pay themselves billions upon billions in hidden, offshore, non taxable income and bonuses, while they live in our country, and advantage everything we have, as they drain our economy of its life and its jobs.....

The very first thing Republicans would do if they actually did care about the American economy, which they don't, is cut out the multi-national corporate scam that has been destroying our economy, and our jobs base....for decades!

What a racket!

I think after three decades of redistributing our wealth to the top, and a tax structure, which favored the wealthy, full of loopholes, and two thirds of corporations paying NOTHING, at the expense of the rest, that if we're asking the little guy, to sacrifice neede daily staples, for survival, that if someone is making a billion dollars a year, and we tax them an extra three percent, they won't even feel it, a few percentage points, takes a huge axe to the deficit, with no bad repurcussions. AND, it c annot be denied, that they do contribute to the number of sick people, with their polluting irresponsibility, that is a fact, easily proven, through cancer studies.

It can't be just cutting spending. Our effective tax rate is about a third of what they say it is, I'm so sick of hearing Republicans lie about it, jeese G.E. paid nothing!

Republicans want to destroy everyone, for the benefit of their wealthy contributors. IT IS MORALLY WRONG, to take from hungry kids, the old, and the ill, while turning the take, over to the wealthiest!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG!

How do they call themselves, Christians???

Repulsive!

From Sofla's posted editorial....in another thread...about Ryans ridiculous budget BS....

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">What we do know is that the model is returning some truly off-the-wall results. It assumes, for instance, that Ryan’s budget will bring unemployment down to 2.8 percent in 2021. That’s just bananas. For one thing, the Federal Reserve wouldn’t allow unemployment to go that low, as that would create enormous inflationary pressure (at least in its opinion). Its assumption is that the long-run level of unemployment is likely to hover between 5 and 6 percent. As the Economist’s Ryan Avent notes, “fundamentally worthy policies shouldn’t need to promise laughably overoptimistic outcomes to win support.”

Max,
Reagan created a slave industry here, with his Amnesty for illegals. Cheap labor....which drove down wages for poorer Americans, who traditionally picked our crops, and could make a living doing so.

Every single economic problem we have in this country, can be traced back to Repiglican policies, including WELFARE INCREASES!

How do you guys get it without ever actually getting it.

The primary reason to move offshore is the corporate taxation and overregulation.

It's amusing how the very people who gripe the most about their Government, keep voting for the Party that is most inept at running the government.

Every Republican President, grew the government, and left larger and larger deficits, every single one.

We've had mostly Republicans in power, as the country lost jobs and went deeper into debt.

"Republicans are always bitching that goverment IS the problem, then they get into office, and prove it!"

Republicans will Set us right back to the verge of the Bush Depression, AGAIN! they are hurting recovery as it is, by increasing consumer fears, with threats of shutting down the goverrnment, and fighting against raising the debt limits.

Economists are tearing them apart, incljuding this ridiculous ryan program, sheer inasnity.

And here's Boehner, who handed out payoff checks from big tobacco, right on the Senate Floor, who cried like a baby, begging for the TARP, and McConnell, who is always in the top five spenders, THE EARMARK KING, who hasn't written a Bill since he's been there.

And everything the Dems do is just wonderful!
/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

You really are out of touch with reality. Both parties are after the same thing...bigger government...but only when they are in control.

Go back to 2006 when Harry Reid was preaching the horrors of raising the debt limits (God forbid the Reps should spend more money), and now he is preaching the end of the country if we don't raise the debt limit.

Come on, Gayle. Get off the Dem bandwagon for a minute and look at reality. Both parties do the same things. The Dems just want to do it faster!

It is your fault for wanting to always increase taxation and regulation. You are the one that votes for it every single time (though I am sure you take every deduction possible when tax season comes around). I am just trying to clue you in a bit as to why the big corporations don't want to stick around.

Nothing is more hilarious than watching someone claim "TOTAL IGNORE" so they never have to learn.

Using the "IGNORE" function is the last refuge of a lost argument.

Claiming to use the "IGNORE" function and then reading every post by every person on the ignore list is prima facie evidence of a deep psychosis which causes one to prefer self delusion over reality.
