... Paul Janish is the best defensive shortstop in the league, possibly in the game.

The fact that he's hitting .444 is simply icing on the cake.

I've watched the kid since A ball, and from the first game I saw him play I knew that if he could hit .250 he'd be a regular player.

Offensively, I suspect he''ll be a consistent .250 to .275 hitter with 10 to 12 homers and decent speed.

But, the guy's glove is just amazing and he has a very good, and accurate, arm as well as great range and incredible defensive situational instincts.
