Myself and two other players were shooting in the high 9s for the season, but we were down in the standings of the provincial BC league because we have two handicap players. So with a week off before the playoffs we took our highest handicap player and helped her work on her game and she started improving!
On game day I got my stroke together and managed to win 15 games in a row, plus our best player won 13 and 2, so we were all feeling pretty good going into the final team match. It was close but our handicap player came through with a clutch win in the final game against a better player and gave us the win.
Our league plays on 9 foot tables so hopefully our handicappers can adjust to the Vegas bar tables. We don't stand much of a chance against a tough team but it'll be fun trying.
If anybody else is down there I'll see you there. -Brad
