The richest 1% in this country pay 10% of all income taxes
The richest 10% in this country pay 37% of all income taxes

At the other end, there are 45% who pay ABSOLUTELY NO INCOME TAX, and in some cases, due to various credits, actually make money from the IRS.

Well, let's review.

Chart #1 doesn't show that 'Only The Little People Pay Taxes' ... but it does promote class warfare via deception as it fails to show that:

1 - The bottom 20%'s income rose faster under Bush than the top 20%'s when viewed as a percentage of income. Oddly enough, the same thing happened following the Reagan and JFK era tax cuts.

2 - It ignores the reality that millions of "The Little People" ... such a condescending choice of words I might add ... received a 100% tax cut, and many started receiving tax refunds for taxes they never even paid.

Chart #8 also pimps the tax code ignorant as the folks it compares the janitor with take very small salaries from brokerage houses but very large stock and bond dividends, IOW they are investors and not employees per se.
