That doesn't seem like a whole lot, considering that Goldman Sachs alone received roughly $800 billion in loans from the Fed. <span style='font-size: 14pt'>But upon closer inspection, Waterfall TALF Opportunity boasts a couple of interesting names among its chief investors: Christy Mack and Susan Karches.</span>

<span style='font-size: 17pt'><u>Christy is the wife of John Mack, the chairman of Morgan Stanley. Susan is the widow of Peter Karches, a close friend of the Macks who served as president of Morgan Stanley's investment-banking division.</u> Neither woman appears to have any serious history in business, apart from a few philanthropic experiences. <span style="color: #990000">Yet the Federal Reserve handed them both low-interest loans of nearly a quarter of a billion dollars through a complicated bailout program that virtually guaranteed them millions in risk-free income. </span></span></div></div>

So, why is the regime doing this?

Why is Wall Street funding the regime's electoral efforts?

You can figure this out Snoopy ... if you want to.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) has been battling the banks the last few weeks in an effort to get 60 votes lined up for bankruptcy reform. <u>He's losing.</u>

On Monday night in an interview with a radio host back home, he came to a stark conclusion: the banks own the Senate.

<span style='font-size: 14pt'>"And the banks -- hard to believe in a time when we're facing a banking crisis that many of the banks created -- are still the most powerful lobby on Capitol Hill. <span style='font-size: 17pt'><span style="color: #CC0000">And they frankly own the place,</span></span>"</span> he said on WJJG 1530 AM's "Mornings with Ray Hanania." Progress Illinois picked up the quote.

Earlier Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told the Huffington Post that the most important provision of bankruptcy reform -- the authority for a bankruptcy judge to renegotiate mortgages, known as cramdown, which banks strongly oppose -- could get ripped out of the bill. <u>Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) pushed back, saying that a bill without such a provision wouldn't be reform at all.</u>

<u>While Durbin has been negotiating with individual banks over the last several weeks, bank lobbyists and Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) <span style='font-size: 14pt'>have been whipping up opposition to it.</span></u> A growing number of Democrats have announced opposition to cramdown, including Ben Nelson (Neb.), Mary Landrieu (La.) and Jon Tester (Mont.).

"There's been a tendency on the part of some who are advocates for the legislation to overestimate the number of votes in favor," said Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.). "When I was actively involved at the moment it broke down it was my impression <span style='font-size: 20pt'><u>there were no Republicans</u> who were willing to support it and at least a few Democrats have stated openly on the record that they were in opposition. How you get to 60 with those numbers is a mathematical problem." </span></div></div>

You blame Obama but the GOP have voted against any kind of reform Obama wants to do. When the GOP votes en masse it only takes a few weak Dems to block reform.

Why don't you answer the question Snoopy instead of assuming you know what I think. You don't even know what you think until someone tells you.

You know, there is never any organized throught process, leading to a logical, rational conslusion, from these righties on here, and, keep in mind, anything I write about righties on here, doesn't include the two, that's right, just two, who are capable of debating, without insults.

Here's a good example.

After years of my posts, condemning the fact that two thirds of corporations don't pay any taxes, they post a thread, about GE, paying no taxes for billions in profits, and present it as though they have won a point, against my views!!!

LMAO! How irrational and twisted does the RW brain get????

They post an article, bashing Obama's Approval ratings, when the Republicans ratings are worse!

Llotter calims the president is a dictator, but gives not one provable example of one single Obama Administration, unlawful, overreach of power!

Did Bush break many laws, and constantly break with our country's treasured and solemn treaties? YES!

Did Dick Cheney hold secret meetings with the oil industry, and create our energy policy, behind closed doors, for the first time in America's history, creating a LOOPHOLE for Energy Pollution? YES!

Did Bush spy illegally on AMericans? YES!

Did he out a covert CIA SECRET NOC AGENT? YES!

Did he suspend the jail sentence of a proven felon, from his own administration, who was convicted on five counts? YES!

Was he caught in lie after lie about IRAQ? YES!

Did he break the FISA laws of this country? YES!

Did he leave a collapsed economy, and a country in deep debt, behind him? YES!

Did Republicans break the spending records under Bush? YES!

Did we LOSE JOBS, under the Bush Tax Cuts? YES!

Did the economic nujbers improve after a few months of president Obama, including job creation? YES!

Rightwing, twisted, non points, that prove nothing, and have no factual basis at all, often with no similarity or presented respected sources for facts, nor to the thrust of their titles, followed by their usual delusional, self-proclaimed defeat of the Liberal View, posted as though a huge win had occured for their misguided RW BS!!!

St, faced with the truth they have no answer.

Here we have welfare for the rich on a grand scale and they don't want to know. They would rather talk about how teachers are paid too much.
