President Obama's approval rating fell to a near-record low, according to a new poll released Tuesday.

But the silver lining for Democrats is that his potential Republican opponents are even more unpopular.

Just 47% of Americans approve of President Obama's job performance, down from 51% last month, according to a new Washington Post/ABC poll.

That 47% approval rating is a mere percentage point higher than the lowest rating of Obama's presidency.
Meanwhile, his disapproval rating spiked to 50%, up five points since March.

Still, America is even less into Republicans. The President holds leads against seven potential Republican challengers in head-to-head races.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee would be the President's most formidable challengers, trailing Obama by four and six points respectively.

Obama beats the other five candidates by double digits. That includes a 12-point lead against real estate mogul Donald Trump and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), 15 points against former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, and 17 points over former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Pessimism about the economy hit a two-year high, the poll also revealed. A sizable 44% of Americans said the economy was getting worse, up 10 points since last fall.

A whopping 57% said they disapproved of how the President was dealing with the economy. Many pundits believe Obama's reelection chances are tied to his handling of the economy.

Obama is in, at least, year #6 of his campaign.

Any candidate who isn't afraid to confront him, as McCain amazingly was, will for sure be accused of R-R-R-RAY - SISSSSMMMM.

Thet will also crush him in the election.

Most Americans have no clue how badly this regime has actually performed.

Somebody suggested a Trump/Paul ticket.
That combination might have the potential to wreak some havoc.
