Remember her? She became the defacto spokesperson for the left, who was elevated to hero status by them when she set up camp outside the Crawford ranch of GW, claiming that the war was a lie.

Well, seems she's back in the news. I wonder how the left will feel about this interview:

That will cause massive synapse misfire on the moonbat crazy left ... after all, we have been told ad nauseum that we simply must accept everything Cindy says.

Contrary to your belief, and lww's claim......people on the left, don't get their views handed to them from Al Gore ,don't have some "Mein Kemp" or "Little Red Book", that lays out some compulsory beliefs they must take an oath to.
Do you really feel that your group are the only ones that can make a value judgment on news or people in the news?
Whatever she has done, or whatever she now admits to doing, or whatever her belief system guidelines are....does not mean I have to accept in toto, nor follow them blindly.....
Why would you care how the left feels about her interview, as (A) you would oppose any statement from the Virgin Mary, if you thought her to be a liberal. and....
(B) no own cares to be judged by you...even if you were a retired Rear Admiral, now delivering Pizzas, after turning down the cook's job.

wikileaks
Sheehan is a socialist, having worked closely with the Socialist Alternative beginning in 2010, appearing at events hosted by the party and its international affiliate, the Socialist Party in the United States[18] and Britain.[19][20] Sheehan has articulated revolutionary socialist and democratic socialist positions and called for a united socialist campaign for the United States presidency in 2012.[21][22] She has stated that Karl Marx "was one of the most brilliant thinkers and political/social philosophers in modern history".[23]

In March 2005, James Morris sent an e-mail to ABC's Nightline allegedly written by Sheehan that included the statements that Casey Sheehan "was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel" and that he had "joined the Army to protect America, not Israel." Sheehan denies the allegations: "I've never said that... Those aren't even words that I would say. I do believe that the Palestinian issue is a hot issue that needs to be solved, and it needs to be more fair and equitable, but I never said my son died for Israel." In a statement she implied that Morris modified the email, which Morris denied. Two other individuals stated they received a copy of the same email directly from Sheehan.[24] Christopher Hitchens has criticized her and her comments as, "a vulgar producer of her own spectacle, and an embarrassment to her family and at best a shifty fantasist."[24]

Reacting to news about the death of Osama bin Laden Cindy Sheehan stated "If you believe the newest death of OBL, you’re stupid"[25] while also referring to America as a "lying, murderous Empire" and telling Americans, whom she called "brainwashed," to "put [their] flags away."[25]

Let's see if this might be a little more clear for you...Sheehan was lifted up as the voice of the left when she went after W. Those on the board here from the left, including yourself, defended this woman vehemently. We are now wondering what your are about the woman's latest statement.

Let me see if I can clear this up for you....
We/I... are/am not locked into some unquestioning dogma, and do not have blinders on, etc, despite your claims
If someone has fallen off of their white Stallion,.....so be it.
Even Audie Murphy, near the end of his life, had his detractors.
You use the usual extreme right wing bs, that whatever she has done now....somehow takes away from any good she has done in the past. Why don't you prove your supposition, by linking to her unyielding support from the mainstream left, or ...well you know what, or... you can go do....

I'm not,...and that ...just because you demanded me to. (How about them apples?)
I don't need to prove my beliefs to you, nor defend them...to you
Not sure what your problem is....as I can't turn back the clock, regarding my former take on her..... so if you want to continue to mock me for that...that seems to be allowable here...
What were you looking for, an apology, and some statement to the effect that you are omniscient, therefore it is ill advised to not agree with you on all issues???

Cindy was only infallible as long as the regime told him she was infallible.

Woofie will never, and I mean ever, dispute the words of either the party or his messiah.

I''ve already stated my position. There are laws in place to deal with criminals. We bypassed the law and assassinated him. Does that somehow make us better than the terrorists?

Like I have said over and over, I do not celebrate the death of anyone, be it a criminal, or an unborn child.

We differ there, but at least you are consistent.

I support sending Osama to meet allah at taxpayer expense, but my opinion has never changed.

I also supported taking out Saddam, and wish it would have been done in a similar manner.

I have no qualms in imposing the death penalty on people who have resorted to barbarism ... in fact, I believe it would have been immoral for the world to NOT seek revenge against Osama and Saddam as well as the likes of Manson.

One may disagree with my beliefs, as reasonable people are wont to do, but I have always been consistent in those beliefs.

Larry, I hear what you are saying. But do you really think that putting that decision in the hands of a single person is a good move? That is an awful lot of authority to place in the hands of one person. I might have felt a little differently had this been an overwhelming decision by 435 other people. But, I can still not bring myself to celebrate a human death.

I accept capital punishment in our court system, simply because it is the law, and there are safeguards in place to protect those involved. They are not perfect safeguards, but at least they are there. What safeguards are in place to prevent a POTUS from arbirtatily deciding who should and should not be executed at his command?

And a question for all you lefties. Would you have wanted to give that kind of power to GW???????????????????????????

I'm celebrating justice and the lives that can now be lived that would have been shortened by murderous leftists.

BUSH HAD ALREADY TAKEN THAT POSITION, AND MADE IT AMERICA'S POLICY, YEARS AGO. YOU'RE SUCH A JOKE!

"WANTED! DEAD OF ALIVE.

EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS AND UNDERSTOOD AT THE TIME, WHAT THAT MEANT, AND HAS MEANT, SINCE THE DAYS OF THE OLD WEST, EXCEPT FOR SOME OF OUR MENTAL MIDGETS, FROM THE RIGHT, WHO ARE DOING WHAT THEY ALWAYS DO, MENTAL GYMNASTICS, USED TO BLAME THE LEFT, FOR RESULTS CREATED BY THE RIGHT.

NOW, FOR ONCE, SHOW US WHERE YOU WERE OUTRAGED WHEN BUSH SET THE POLICY, 'DEAD OR ALIVE' OVER ONE MAN, HAVING THAT AUTHORITY!!!!

Steve

Obviously the difference is she was told it was bad, and now told it's good, so "DOUBLETHINK" is her only way out.

I, OTOH, approved of that line of thinking in both instances.
