Fond memories of watching him play when I was a kid. Great player and gentleman.

I remember when he went into the HOF...and have many memories of watching him as a youngster. It's a sad day for baseball fans.

Classic big swing but low average power hitter.

Made the bigs at age 17 ... and about a dozen all star games, plus an MVP.

From everything I have ever heard, he was also a class act.
