Just when you think Olby couldn't be any less competent, he continues to surprise:

Quote:

The infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann quickly jumped at the chance to snark about a tv chyron that read 'Obama Bin Laden'. First he claimed it was the Fox News station in Chicago:

TWITTERMANN; KeithOlbermann: Oh this gets worse: MT @blcsfo LOOK AT HOW FOX NEWS (Chicago station) REPORTED BIN LADEN DEATH http://j.mp/jDzGnI
Then he decided it wasn't Chicago, and figured out it was Sacramento:

TWITTERMANN: Correcting city: MT @blcsfo LOOK AT HOW FOX NEWS (Sacramento station) REPORTED BIN LADEN DEATH http://j.mp/jDzGnI
Fox40 in Sacramento is not 'Fox News'. They're a local station that carries Fox broadcast network programming (like 'American Idol'). They don't air Fox News, they aren't even owned by Fox. They're owned by Tribune Broadcasting. But that didn't stop Edward R Olbermann:

TWITTERMANN: Note Fox News has switched to "Usama Bin Laden" presumably so they don't get caught calling him "Obama Bin Laden" for a 2nd time tonight

An Olbermann Double Lie! Fox News didn't call him 'Obama Bin Laden', and they didn't 'switch' to calling him 'Usama'--because that's the spelling FNC has used for years. Mainly because it's the spelling that federal agencies like the FBI have used for years.

Of course the supreme irony of all this is that Oralmann himself actually committed the gaffe that he rushed to slam 'Fox News' for. And on his very own website, no less:

Mr Bush personally de-prioritized the hunt for Obama...

Keith Olbermann makes an embarrassing gaffe, and then to cover it up lies that it happened on 'Fox News'. Ladies and gentlemen, the new Murrow.

THIS (http://www.olbermannwatch.com/) reminds me of the time aitch and Snoopywere confused over "OSAMA" and "OBAMA" ... of course Teddy Kennedy, yet another moonbat crazy leftist icon, made the same gaffe.

This is a fair complaint in outline form, if not in exact details (details may or may not be accurate).

However, YES, the names are close enough that presumed Obama supporters have made this same understandable error. I heard Rachel Maddow with the same verbal slipup (although she immediately corrected it).

One local Fox affiliate news guy went the limit when he announced, apparently without noticing how extremely wrong it was, that 'President Obama is confirmed dead.'

Olberman should have stuck to sports. I don't remember why he quit but he was probably pushed out for running his mouth.

Another twisted and dishonest thread title.

Typical!

But they don't notice when Rick Perry, doesn't know the history of his own state, and Palin, doesn't know what the Bush Doctrine is, or when Bachmann, doesn't know basic American history about in which state was fired "The shot heard around the world"!

The famous Bushism, were stunning, as well. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

So you again don't want to stick to the subject?

Might I suggest that you actually read what was posted and then attempt toi deal with the facts?

1 - Olby took what a local affiliate did and attempted to blame FOX NEWS.

2 - Yes, it is an easy enough typo to make.

3 - Olby was a total hypocrite ... as well as a liar because I'm sure that even an idiot like himself realizes that a Fox affiliate merely distributes Simpson episodes and is not FOX NEWS ... when he told his lie because he himself had been guilty of the same thing.
