LMAO, his job creation as governor was an epic failure.

His history of corruption, is about as bad.

What a nerve, to run that "Bump in the road" political ad, when he threw workers under the bus for more money in his pockets, as a way of life, for years!

Here's the real story, of the lying pos Romney!

He invented OBAMACARE so of course he's a putz.

I dislike him for position reasons ... you dislike him because you are told to.

If it's true that Romneycare polls at 60%+ approval in Massachusetts, it appears he did a good policy job on that basis alone, barring other confuting information. Which I haven't seen raised so far.

It isn't rocket science. If you want to cover almost everybody, there has to be money from somewhere. The options for covering the additional costs are few-- either the play or pay mandate on employers (as Nixon's plan had it), or the personal mandate on individuals (or programs deemed unacceptable in America like the single payer option and/or buying into Medicare early). Romney didn't invent the personal mandate, since that was the key GOP alternative back in Clinton's time which a half dozen or more GOP office-holders put forward as bills.

Some people who rather like Romneycare oppose the man because of his blatant and transparent 180 degree switches in position, because of electoral imperatives. So he'll say or do anything to get elected, even on very principled matters such as being 'strongly' pro-choice (when going for governor and US senator from a blue state), and totally different now while going for the GOP presidential primary voters.

The current Republican Party, can get away with their absurdities, because they have a powerful propaganda machine which has a policy of lying, expanding slanderous misinformation, and repeating the lies, over and over, and since their audience, is one of mentally lazy, non readers, whose heroes are the likes of B eck, Palin and Limbaugh, who are only interested in demonizing fellow Americans, and spreading more hate and lies, it's easy for them to get away with all of the lies, and unprecedented damages, they have wrought upon our country.

The right just keeps on slurping it up, since it assuages their appetite for hatred of all things they mistakently deem as Liberal.

Romney doesn't strike me as having any possibility for winning the Presidential election. His past, and his flip flips, are far too easy to document, and he is beholden to the radical right, for votes, and hence, he must disown the one and only good thing he did as governor, the Health Care Plan, which is highly approved by the people of Massachusettes.

Hard to believe these days, that there was actually a time when the Republican Party, had some statesmen, who cared about Liberty, the Constitution, and the rule of law.

Now they see it as just a piece of paper, ala Bush, that they want to use for their fascist purposes, which are contrary to the principles of Americanism, and our Conctitution, as well as Madison's dream of the perfect, and complete, separation of Church and State.

I don't think the right knows the difference between Imperialism, and American Exceptionalism. Repubs are the antithesis of American "Can Do." Their goal is to force Americans, to accept a country which cares not at all for those in need, and drive their point accross, that the America of the future, will only be good, if the wealthy are allowed to continue to make us ill with their pollution, steal from us on Wall Street, skew our taxes to take more from the struggling, to give more to the thieves, and in their privatized corporatist socialist/Fascist America of the future, they are pushing us to accept the idea that The American Dream, is gone forever, since their plan is to starve out those who are struggling, due to their failed trickle down, deregulatory, warring and borrowing and spending, and lying.

They are completely without conscience, and their lies are denied without abandon. More and more of them are speaking lies, and then turning right around and saying, if their lies are quoted, the quoter is a liar!

Pretty hilarious, when they present themselves as the children of Jesus.

There was once an adorable little girl in our neighborhood, that I used to watch for a girlfriend of mine, when she needced to go for her doctor appointments. She would tell me the most outrageious stories, LOL, cute as a button, though, annd when she was finished, I'd say, "Now Joanniie, are you sure that's the truth?

and she'd smile, and look me right in the eye, with her big blue eyes, and say,

"Well, if you don't tell it, it's the truth, but if you tell it, then it was a lie!"

That describes the MO for all of those Republican Candidates! Ron Paul, is the least likely to lie, and he doesn't have a chance in hell, of being elected.

On that we can agree.
