And imagine, after all that "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!" Repiglican Campaign rhetoric.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Neo-conned again, righties.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

I'm glad the President is putting the onus right in the Repiglicans laps. Why should he knock himself out giving them programs, that include their own historical policies, meeting them half way, when they've made it clear since january 2009, that their only goal is to block the recovery, block addressing our most pressing issues, such as Health Care, block addressing Climate Change, block spending on renewable fuels, block investing in education, infrastructure, job creation, and everythhing else he laid out for his administration.

The balls in their court, now, and they have done not one single thing to create jobs, and in fact, they lie about the millions of jobs both saved, and created in the private sector.

Same ol' perpetual campaigners, all hat no cattle, do nothing Repiglicans they've always been.

Surprise surprise, LMAO!

Not only have they not helped, they have actively sabotaged the recovery. They think this is their chance to drive a big nail in the coffin of the US Government and Obama's presidency.

Never let a good crisis, imaginary or not, go to waste to push through policy that would otherwise never get through the Democratic Process.

Exactly! The Shock Doctrine on steroids!

They created the Great Recession, and then they filibustered the recovery. Now, they're trying to ruin the good faith and credit of the United States of America, and cause interest rates to go through the ceiling, as they dig the country even deeper into the ditch.

Now, who will profit from higher interest rates on all of the borrowing, all of the debt the Repiglican blank check Congress ran up under eight years of Bush, all of them spending, borrowing and wasting money, while running up deficits, and failing to pay for anything..... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Then, when we NEED to spend, in order to rebuid our economy, all of a sudden they're deficit hawks!

Repiglicans always damage the country, and hold back progress, it's their usual M.O.

In spite of all the rhetoric, the only 'job' that the federal government should be concerned about is their own job of protecting our freedom. Beyond that, they can only make matters worse.

I wish Republicans could learn this lesson.

Then all of the major economists are saying the sky is falling, too, I suppose, since they are all saying that Republicans are going to severely damage a fragile recovery, cause interest rates on our debts to go through the ceiling, cause damages to other countries, and that these particular Republicans are acting like juveniles.

Failing to pay our debts will be a global disaster, but far from the first one created by Repiglican Shenanigans.

Remember the Bush/Repiglican mantra, "The deficits don't matter!"

Now they're saying that paying our debts dosen't matter either, and the right is believing the BS just like they did when Cheney was telling them the deficits didn't matter.

We send people to Washington to legislate, to work for the best interests of the country, not to go there and try to block every single improtant effort to get the country recovered from eight years of being Bush Whacked by the spending, borrowing pigs, who dug this country into a debt hole, destroyed the economy, and ruined our honor in the world.

We'd be far worse off right now without the resident handling this mess, we'd likely be in the Bush Depression.

Jobs, Jobs, Jobs they screamed for two years, now they are back in there annd causing more jobs losses, as the Repiglican governors throw more people out of work, and Repiglicans block job creation for political purposes.

Not one Job Bill by Repiglicans, after screaming for two years, Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. That's the subject of the thread, BTW.

Democratic are not bluffing, and you righties are going to look ridiculous AGAIN, if these pigs on The Hill, don't get off their SH**!

We are supposed to have people who go to Washington, to negotiate, and get something done.

Repiglicans have not accomplished one single thing to help the country after all these months.

Repiglicans are totally ineffective. The most Do NOTHING CONGRESS in history!

You're the ignorant one, Ed. You voted for Bush, twice.

You thought Richard Clarke, our former counter terrorist czar, was a terrorist, and still think Valarie Plame, was just a secretary.

end of story.

It is your beloved Dems that have driven us to near 10% and then held strong at 9.2%. Currently UE is getting worse and your guys have had control for 5 years and did nothing but run it into the ground.

Keep up the deflection, you don't see to have anything else going for you.

Is today a "BOOMING RECOVERY" day, or is it a "BUSH DEPRESSION" day?
