What do you expect of people who believe that:

- Coal powered cars will solve air pollution.

- High unemployment drives job creation.

- As long as we keep raising the debt limit, the debt presents no problem.

- The fact that the gubmint prints fiat money to repay what they have borrowed can't possibly lead to economic ruin.

- Barack Hussein Obama Junior is a genius.

- We should trust the gubmint to watch out for our best interests and go watch "AMERICAN IDOL."

- The Earth's climate never changed before 1988.

- Corn powered cars is a good idea.

- "The Carter Energy Plan" would have saved us and it's Bush's fault that the moonbat crazy left killed it.

LWW

Actually they used the science which shows that the Oit was warming, but that it seems to have stopped for the last decade.

They also used the scare tactics of the Goremons from 20 years ago against them ... that by now winter snowstorms in Europe and most of North America would be something one read about in history books.

It is impossible to stay on topic with your topics because your topics constantly are based on mythology.

That's a good point. Fox is, I guess, that Saudi oil billionaire who is their second largest stockholder, and his oil interests. You know the one whom Rudy Giuliani refused a $10 million charitable donation from?

Hilarious. Fox News viewers are getting it straight from the Saudis. Amazing.

What's amazing is that you are enough of a dolt to believe that.

And now for the left's worst enemy ... the truth.

1 - Alwaleed is the largest stockholder outside of the Murdoch family.

2 - He owns a whopping 7%, which is far from enough to actually call any shots.

3 - Alwaleeds voting shares amount to less than 5.5%

4 - Prior to 2009 his voting shares were even less.

5- Fox has been very critical of Alwaleed ... including Glenn Beck.

My source? The reich wing THINKPROGRESS (http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2010/06/03/100569/beck-alwaleed-911/) and FORBES (http://www.forbes.com/2005/09/06/alwaleed-murdoch-billionaires-cx_gl_0906autofacescan02.html)

7% is often enough to control a corporation, especially if it's the largest or near-largest holding.

Apparently, that guy called the shots on forcing the firing of some of Murdoch's golden boy executives. The question is, what level of influence was he granted in the board of directors?

The SEC uses only a **5%** holding as a trigger point to disclose information in SEC filings as to persons trying to wrest control of a corporation in a tender offer. If as of the tender completion, that person would own just 5% (or more), disclosure forms are required.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, parties who will own more than five percent of a class of the company’s securities after making a tender offer for securities registered under the Exchange Act must file a Schedule TO with the SEC. The SEC also requires any person acquiring more than five percent of a voting class of a company’s Section 12 registered equity securities directly or by tender offer to file a Schedule 13D.

The filings required by Section 14(d) of the Exchange Act and Regulation 14D provide information to the public about persons other than the company who make a tender offer. The company that is the subject of the takeover must file with the SEC its response to the tender offer on Schedule 14D-9. The rules also set time limits for the tender offer and provide other protections to shareholders. When a public company makes a tender offer for a class of its own equity securities, it similarly must file a Schedule TO and may also need to file a Schedule 13E-3.

Except for the anti-fraud and a few other provisions of Regulation 14E, the SEC’s tender offer rules generally do not apply to tender offers that result in ownership of five percent or less of the outstanding shares —also known as "mini-tender offers." You can learn more about the risks of mini-tender offers by reading our information on that topic. </div></div>

Why is that? Because 5% is plenty enough to control a widely held publicly traded company.

So let me get the left;s position straight on this ... Rupert Murdoch is personnaly both civilly and criminally liable for every action that happens in the FOX empire because they hold 28.5% of the company stock, and roughly 40% of the voting stock <span style='font-size: 11pt'>while at the same time</span> Alwaleed is controlling the company with under 6% of the voting shares?

Talk about doublethink. Wow ... just WOW!

And, FWIW, 5% ... or 7% ... or 49% ... is never enough to control a company, whether you are the largest stockholder or not.

It may be enough to give you some clout ... but not control. Also ... Alwaleed doesn't even have a seat on the NEWSCORP (http://www.newscorp.com/corp_gov/bod.html) board.

OH DEAR! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_Murdoch)
