So are all statists.

They need a terrified populace to slide their malicious and oppressive agenda by the people ... stealing their liberty in exchange.

Yep, that's what the Republicans are doing alright. St.

Quite so.

They couldn't get these kinds of draconian and economy-killing cuts using the regular order, so they've now taken to hostage taking and extortion, hijacking the Constitutional process in shameful ways.

Same with the GOP governors. Stealth agenda, ram it through to create a fait accompli, and if it takes questionable votes open for only 15 seconds, or colorable violations of notice periods contrary to open government laws, well, they'll do all of that as well.

Fascism on the march! And a very strong force it is.

They call the people the parasites, but they are the predatory parasites. Having almost all the money isn't enough for them, but they push everyone else to the wall and over the cliff in their effort to get the rest of it.

What are these draconian cuts?

So what are the draconian cuts? If you insist they happened, surely you can say what they were?

So how did they kill the economy? If you insist it happened, surely you can explain how?

Who was taken hostage? Why was nobody arrested? If you insist that it happened, surely you can name who?

What was extorted? If you insist this is the case, surely you can say what it was?

If the COTUS was hijacked, who did it and how did they do it? If you insist such a crime happened, surely you can state how they did it?

C'mon ... you have had nearly 16 hours to be spoon fed some talking points.

Give us a full report.

As you may have heard, these cuts are mainly unspecified, except as to amounts.

After one week ... nothing as to what these "DRACONIAN CUTS" might be?

How about let's get a definition ... how much federal spending for 2012 has actually been cut?

None.
With baseline budgeting it will only be a decrease in the rate of projected spending.

Don't act so stupid.

As is relatively well known, the $1 trillion (over 10 years) now in place will be more than doubled with another $1.5 trillion in cuts over the same time period, WHEN either the super committee specifies them by passing them over to the Congress, and they are voted in, or barring passage (by that committee or the Congress), the automatic formula kicks in.

The super committee hasn't yet been appointed, let alone met, still less has come up to their deadline for reporting out a bill, which is in the fall. Until it has a proposed cuts law it can pass, and until Congress passes it or doesn't, nobody can specify what these cuts will be.

However, the aggregate $2.5 trillion over 10 years works out to $250 billion a year, when it is finally specified. That is about 7% of the budget cut each year, if it is straightlined taken out.

When do I get my free unicorn?

Please ... tell me you are only parroting the lie to advance the agenda and don't actually believe any of that?

And now for the money shot ... even if you do believe it, it still isn't a cut.

All it amounts to is cracking the windows to add some aero drag as we drive off the cliff with the pedal to the floor.
