On the bright side, the king of the world decided to drop the prices of commodities across the board, including dropping the price of oil to what, $85 a barrel? So at least he's helping the economy there.

Really, though, Obama had nothing to do with the world's commodities markets tanking, just as he had nothing to do with the economic conditions causing such large use of food stamps.

All he could have done was trim the eligibility requirements to reduce those who qualified, and that would have been fairly cruel to those in need.

Mainly, the answer people provide as what else he should have done (not spent money those first two years) would have WORSENED the economy and INCREASED the numbers on food stamps even more. Some may say that tough love, harsh medicine, was the only thing that would have worked-- have the federal government step aside, not intervene, and let the marketplace sort itself out. But even most of them wouldn't quite predict things wouldn't have gotten MUCH worse in the meantime.

Repiglicans have only one answer for the all the suffering hungry people in our country, who are suffering because of the devastating circumstances, the legacy of Goerge Bush, and the Repiglican blank check Congress, so bad, we are still struggling to recover from the devastation.

So what is their answer for the poor and hungry in our country?

STARVE THEM TO DEATH.

Don't you just love those family values Christians?

Why are they hungry?

In America, most people on food stamps could stand to lose weight.

Here are the 10 states that rely the most on food stamps:

1 - Mississippi, also most obese state.

2 - Oregon

3 - Tennessee, third most obese state.

4 - NM

5 - Michigan, tenth most obese state.

6 - Louisiana, second most obese state.

7 - Ky, fourth most obese state.

8 - WV, sixth most obese state.

9 - Maine

10 -SC

Proof again that being a ward of the state is unhealthy.

Oh, my solution, improve the economy so they can get a job.

And ... man I love this part ... both lists are from the Huffingto Post.
