Founded in 1948, the Billiard Congress of America is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to growing a united, prosperous and highly regarded billiard industry through BCA leadership. The BCA seeks to enhance the success of its members and promote the game of billiards though educational, marketing and promotional efforts, annual industry trade shows, tournaments and other programs designed to encourage billiards as a lifestyle and make pool everybody’s game.

Let's see...Since I've been in the industry, I would think that should read more like -

The BCA is a non-profit trade organization that exists to enhance the status and market share of its board members within the billiards industry. By ignoring and alienating the needs of league players, professionals, pool room operators, and other billiards related entities that did not provide immediate gain to the board members, the BCA has effectively shot itself in the foot and has slowly been bleeding to death, while providing no real direction, organization, or promotion for the billiards industry as a whole.

Just my opinion.

The orignial poster was just using that mission statement as an excuse to post his ad. Both of the threads he started won't be here long.
