Clipgate: Obama had a standard issue paper clamp around the new jobs bill he held up at rallies.

Lipgate: Michelle Obama has been lipread by non-lip-readers to have said something or other.

These are the shocking scandals that the right has been pushing recently.

Hmmm.

Slow news week or what?

Anyway, with scandals like this popping up right (and right), how can this man even serve out the balance of his term, let alone be re-elected?

I mean, when the First Lady can be clearly seen to be saying:

Quote:

Here's the super secret transcript of the words Michelle Obama said to her husband at that reverent moment. Note that the words were penned by a team of MSNBC reporters and edited by Keith Olbermann.

"You know, mein herr, that binder clip you used to hold the secret socialist plans disguised as a job act did not come from an approved madrassa. When you're back home in Kenya next week, be sure to stop by the Indonesian madrassa supply store and get the correct, death-panel-approved binder clips. Oh, and while you're at it, let's go through with our secret plan to destroy America after all. I was lying when I said I was proud of this foreign country of freedom. Long live Mexico!"

the man has got to resign or be impeached, ASAP!!! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

They'll drum up something, surely!

Anything to cover up facts like these!

Quote:

Some statements made by David Stockman, former Reagan Budget Director:

On Health Care....

"The question is not whether it's government run, it's whether it's run by the SICK CARE CARTEL, and that's really what we have in this country, the farming industry, the doctors, the hospitals, and we have a system that basically puts huge windfalls into their pockets, and not good health care for the American Public. I don't think Obama has solved the problem, and I don't think the Republicans have either, but we need to think through how we're going to pay for health care, and as long as it's third party, where no one's accountable, it's not going to work.

We won the cold war, mainly because the Solviet system was collapsing, but instead of demobilizing our military establishment, after we won the war, like we did in 1919 and 1946, we kept it up we kept building it, looking for missions, pretty soon had Imperialism around the world, pretty soon we had wars of occupation, that have failed, miserably, and as a result we are now spending more for defense today, in 2010. when we have no enemies, no industrial enemies, in the world, than we did in 1980, when Reagan took office, and we were facing the Evil empire that had 10,000 war heads.

We shouldn't have a mislie defense system. I think the big issues is why do we need a missile defense, against whom?

Russia is the greatest plutacracy in history. They're most interested in stealing from each other, andf plundering their own resources, than they are aggressing against us.

China? Are they going to bomb three thousand Walmart Stores in the United States? Thereby destroy their export machine? The po9int is that we have a defense establishmennt, that looks to a world that doesn't exist, and if we're going to deal with the real problem we have, this massive deficit, we need a big reduction in defense.

Here's the truth. In 1980 we had one trillion dollars in National Debt. For thirty years the Republicans talked about spending cuts, kept cutting taxes. Thirty years later with no spending cuts, and a lot of tax cuts, in a depleted revenue base we've got fourteen trillion of National Debt. Our debt has gone up fourteen times, and our economy has only gone up three, three and a half times.

A lot of that is due to the fact that when it comes to the war on spending, that the Republilcans are always talking about, that war was more conducted like the perverbial french army rifle, "never been fired, and dropped only once," they've never done it.

In another statement, Stockman stated, 7/31/10 NY Times:

The debt explosion has resulted not from big spending by the Democrats, but instead the Republican Party's embrace, about three decades ago, of the insidious doctrine, that deficits don't matter if they result from TAX CUTS!

ABOUT GUNS:

Well, I think we have to start with our values. In other words, I would say about guns, what keynes said about gold. 'It's a barbarous relic that has no place in the twenty first century civilization. And they ought to be scorned, they ought to be condemned, and they ought to be driven out of the land in terms of what we do in this society today.

The number one source of gun violence in America, is the fact that illegal drugs drive this massive culture of violence, so if we want to deal with gun violence, then lets legalize, illegal drugs.

Ninety nine percent of the gun deaths today, do not come from self-defense, they come from homicide, they come from suiide, and they come from accidental gun death.

Repiglicans have to continue with their relentless spin, their re-writing of history, their personal slander and racist attacks, it's the only way they can take the spotlight off their humongously FAILED, IRRATIONAL policies!
