Industrial Gold Reclamation From Electronics???

At $1800 an oz, is there real and worthwhile value in reclaiming industrial gold from edge connectors on PC boards, etc, inside tired and forgotten electronics equipment laying around the house waiting to be thrown in the local landfill? At this price of $1800, you'd think that it would be equitable to reclaim the gold, even if it isn't that pure.

Do the reclamation centers even bother with it these days? It'll have to be worth the work at some point and price in overall gold prices on the world market. sid

Gold iz never worth it. It costs money to dig find etc. And then it mainly goze into the ground again. Gold makes the size of theusofa cake smaller, thusly the slices are all smaller.
Except that if u kan find/get some gold u will get a larger slice of that smaller cake.
If i were king gold would be banned.
