But, the real demoralizing message from Christie to America, is "bend over and grab your ankles, America, because the wealthy doesn't mind stealing as much from you as they possibly can, and people like me are going to see to it that they have every opportunity to steal as much as they wish!

This has got to be the biggest pile of unadulterated Bull**** I have ever heard!

Americans have been robbed, by the greedy and corrupt crooks on Wall St., the oil cartel, the pharmaceutical industry, the defense industry contractors, all of them showing unprecedented profits, and all of them sitting on their wealth, whie America goes down the tubes, all of it presecuted by corporate CEO's, who have for over a decade, outsourced our jobs, hid their money off shore, and been allowed to continue by "on the take" politicians, Christie himself, one of the worst, a former Madoff protector.

He and the reppublicans have protected those same crooks, who crashed the economy with their greed, and they have blocked all efforts to tighten regulations to prevent another grand theft, blocked all efforts to implement fairer tax policies, and end corporate welfare, maintaining the loopholes for the wealthy, and this absolute <span style='font-size: 20pt'>HOG</span>, has the colossal gall, to make a statement suggesting that there has not been a consistant redistribution of wealth, upwards, by Republican policies, and corrupt wealthy CEO's, but rather, that those who have seen their wages forced down, lost their homes, lost their jobs, lost health care, and lost opportunities to work for decent wages, are the real thieves!

Unbelievable! Absolutely repulsive and grossly dishonest.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Christie’s Tax Tale
Posted on September 28, 2011

Chris Christie shaded the truth when he took credit for closing New Jersey’s budget gap “without raising taxes.” It’s true he didn’t raise state taxes, but the governor’s first budget extensively revised and reduced a program that once provided residents with local property tax rebate checks. As a result, nearly 1 million homeowners received an average $269 property tax credit in fiscal year 2011, down from an average rebate check of $1,035 the year before.

The New Jersey governor spoke Sept. 27 at the Reagan Library. His theme was “leadership and compromise,” and he cited his experience as a Republican working with a Democratic legislature.

Christie, Sept. 27: Leadership and compromise is the only way you can balance two budgets with over $13 billion in deficits without raising taxes while protecting core services.

Christie — who after the speech once again rebuffed calls to run for president — did face significant budget problems when he took office in January 2010. He inherited a $2.2 billion shortfall in the fiscal year 2010 budget and declared a fiscal emergency to deal with it. In his first budget for fiscal year 2011, Christie faced a structural deficit of $10.7 billion.

To help close the budget gap, Christie overhauled the Homestead Rebate program. Christie cut the program from $1 billion to $268 million and renamed it the Homestead Benefit program. Instead of mailing out rebate checks, the program now provides quarterly tax credits against a homeowner’s property tax bills. Christie also deemed all tenants and homeowners who earn more than $75,000 ineligible for the program, and he sharply reduced the benefit for others. In its budget analysis, the nonpartisan Office of Legislative Services said the average benefit declined from $1,035 in fiscal year 2010 to $269 in fiscal year 2011.

So, did Christie close the budget gap without increasing taxes? Homeowners who relied on those checks to help pay property taxes might disagree with him.

In fact, the governor refers to the program as “direct tax relief” in his latest budget.

Christie’s fiscal year 2012 budget — which he signed June 30 — increases the Homestead Benefit program from $268 million to $458 million. On page 20 of his budget summary, Christie touts the increase in a list of budget accomplishments: “Doubles the Homestead Benefit to provide direct property tax relief to New Jersey families.” The Office of Legislative Services says the average benefit will increase to $476 — which isn’t quite double last year’s average and is less than half what it was before Christie took office.

No, not at all. The idiot Repiglicans think that by widening the void between the rich and the rest, with their failed tax policies, which destroyed the comsumer base, and by cutting everything we need to invest in, and depend on, while continuing with massive Corporate Welfare, and irrational Defense spending, refusing to make cuts that would not hurt those who have suffered the greatest losses of all, and destroying as many public secter jobs as they can, instead of investing in more of them, that they can improve our circumstances, by doing the same things they did all along, that put us into the debt ditch.

That is exactly what they have been doing all along, because, as McConnell said the day after President Obama won, their Main Goal is to make President Obama, a one term president.

AND because Repiglicans, are greedy, corrupt, money mongering, PIGS!

No, the vast majority of Americans, want to end corporate welfare, and the on-going thievery, by Corporate America, which every poll proves, with between sixty and seventy percent of Americans, and some even higher, including polling data on Republicans, want to end the corporate fleeseing of America, annd end corporate welfare for those who are polluting the environment, scamming us on Wall St., outsourcing our jobs, paying off Repiglican State Officials to fire our public protectors, teachers and first responders, so they can take over and destroy American wages, even further than they already have after they destroy our workers rights, to organize and negotiate, and destroy the Unions, and take over their positions.

The vast majority of Americans, want the Bush Tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires to end.

Hence, the president, and Democratics, are doing what they always do, protecting the rights of ALL AMericans, not just their wealthy contributors.

I voted for a good man, who has done everything he could do, to reverse George Bush's and the Republican blank check majoritiy's multi level, unprecedented, disastrous legacy, and multi quagmires, and he has achieved an incredible number of successes, both foreign and domestic, and all in the face of unparalleled Repiglican obstructionism, irresponsibility, and outright un-American policies.

America cannot go forward by subsidizing the same corporate thieves, who outsource our jobs, drive down our wages, fire our public servants, disenfrancise our voters, remove our safety nets, and pander to the wealthy top one percent, who are hoarding their money at a time when we need partiotic Americans, to invest in our future, Educationfor our people, freedom from the noose of foreign oil, the filth of domestic fosile fuels, in the interest of a healthy, clean environment, that isn't adding to the sick roles, investment in jobs, and industry here, investing in revuiding our dilapidated, unsafe infrastructure, and an all out ending of the assault of America's beautiful mountains, valley's streams and rivers, all of our natural resources, which are most assaulted by SOUTHERN REPIGLICAN AND DEMOCRATIC PIGS WHO ARE OWNED LOCK STOCK AND BARREL BY THE PIGS IN THE OIL INDUSTRY.

Republicans are the most un-Christian dead beats in history.

They are insulting, demonizing and do nothings.

They highjack the country's interests for the purpose of divisive Bull**** about abortions, gay marriage, and disgusting lies and rhetoric about the president.

Not sure how 'upset' they are, but they did not favor that extension of the Bush tax cuts to the top brackets, opposing it by over 2-1.

Probably any outrage was a little muted, as people generally DID favor the extension to all below the top bracket, and they tied the one to the other.

Stop twisting the facts, Ed. The polls show that even the majority of Republicans, favor ending tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires, and even for the top three percent.

Most Dems wanted to maintain tax cuts for those who have been losing wealth, and jobs, and let the cuts for those who have gained wealth, and had the greatest advantage from the Bush Tax cuts, expire.

The last measures when they were all extended, came about because Republicans held hostage the cuts for those who have lost wealth, unless all of the cuts were maintained, IOW continue with the cuts for the wealthiest top three percent, or else Republicans wouldn't vote for extending them for anyone.

FACT. The GOP were willing to raise taxes on everyone. Obama said 98% can keep their BUSH tax cuts but the top 2% must pay more.

Yes they do, and it is so easy to prove that the right wing votes against their own best interests, over and over.

This class warfare against Middle Class Americans, was launched by Repiglicans, going all the way back to Reagan.

If we could get through the thick skulls of the religious right, and the racist, sexist and homophobic among us, and those intellectual enough to realize that we should not get into land wars, unless there is a real and present danger, and even then, we should use stealth means, and all of the technology we have at our displosal, and avoid invasions, then we could get America back to being all that we can be.

The wealthy corporations, the global movers and shakers, have sold the rest of us out, over the last decades, for their bottom line, and F. how it impacted America, and then Wall St., stole what was left.

Can you read?

This is your usual game. The poster provided proof of their statements, then you come in and fail to address directly, with any research, or any published and researched information to disprove what their posts claim.

I call that uninformed and intellectually lazy.

The Repiglican Party has a long history of intervening with their votes, to block corporate polluters from having to clean up their messess. That hurts all of us, and our planet.

George Bush axed his own fathers clean air and water act, allowing more filth in our environment, including mre arsenic in our water.

The Cheney Loophole provided cover for energy corporations, to pollute our water, with their fracking chemicals, and llowed them to hide the facts on the chemicals they were using.

Repigolicans tried to end unemployment payments, for suffering Americans who had been out of work, and couldn't find jobs, in Bush's no jobs created, environment.

Repiglicans tried to block giving decent aid to our veterans when they came home, and Democratics, had to fight them, to get that pushed through.

Repiglicans want to do away with the Environemenntal protection Agency, which would hurt all of four citizens, AND our environment.

They want to destroy the departmennt of Education. another policy, which would lower our educaional committment to our young people.

Repiglicans like Rumsfeld, had the balls to tell our solider, when he asked why he was fighting a war, without decent equipment, "You go to war with the army you have, not the army you wish you had"

The details proved that thousands of our soldiers had their arms, legs, brains, blown to pieces, due to unarmored equipment.

We learned that our brain damaged Veterans, were thrown in with rats and roaches, and had to slip annd slide through ice, to get therapy, for their conditions, just blocks away from the Bush White House.

Repiglicans tried to protect, BP, after they failed to protect their own workers, and our environment in the Gulf, which had a devastating impact on business owners in numerous states, along the Gulf, not to mention the many fish, birds, tutles, etc., that we lost. Still they are dying, and washing up on our shorelines.

There are so many ways in which REpigican hurt America, and other countries, with their Godless policies, it is phenomenal.

If you don't know about it, you're either brain washed, or living in denial.
