Eighty percent of Americans agree with everything that you say on this show, but we have no voice. We know that jobs are more important, and this phony, made-up deficit stuff they talk about. We know that people who have done well in America should do well by America and start paying America back in the form of more fair taxes.

"People who benefited from the bailouts and from the tax breaks should start paying America back. They're doing great.

"Everybody else is suffering. That is 80 percent of the majority. And we're going to now have a voice.

"And you're going to see an American fall, an American autumn, just like we saw the Arab spring. You can see it right now with these young people on Wall Street. Hold onto your hats. We're going to have an October offensive to take back the American dream and to rescue America's middle class."

Yes We can, and yes we will!

This is exactly what Mayor Bloomberg was talking about, and it is happening now.

GREAT! We needed to do this before the last mid-term election!

Don't you feel better by announcing publicly that you want the American republic to fall.

Must have read that passage too quickly.

The American 'fall' mentioned by Jones is immediately clarified to mean 'autumn,' so 'fall' as a season, not as the country 'falling' (as in dissolving, or falling into a worse condition).

Nice try ... but what he said was "JUST LIKE AN ARAB SPRING" where people took to the streets to overthrow their national government.

The dyslexic part is that in the "ARAB SPRING" supposedly the people were being oppressed and the regimes, and their supporters, were the oppressors.

In Van Jones bizarro world the people are the oppressors while the regime, and their supporters, are the oppressed.

So recent an event, and you still cannot remember it correctly?

What happened in those countries was that the populace felt abused and harmed by the countries' leadership and its policies, and they peacefully took to the streets, exercising what we might call their right of assembly.

That is more or less what the Tea Party has done here. And it is what Jones is calling for as well, under a differing set of stated grievances, gathering in peaceful public assembly as a way to petition the government for redress of these grievances.

Both public assembly and the right to petition the government for redress of grievances were contemplated and approved, nay, GUARANTEED, as rights under the Constitution, iirc.

You must be one of those 'cafeteria' Constitutionalists, like the cafeteria Catholics, who only take SOME of the their teachings as valid or as something they need to follow.

The TeaBagger cry was , "let's take our Government back". !!!

Got it?

Yes nut job. Once again showing your level of sanity or amount meds taken.

He wants less Medicare, he wants to abolish SS and advocates zero taxes for the 'job creators' etc etc.

This 'switch-over' that you are trying is not working.

???

The Arab unrest occurred IN SPRING. (Nothing to do with the season, except probably that is a better weather time to be outdoors there.)

Van Jones was calling for public demonstrations to occur THIS FALL, and made a comparison to the shorthand term 'Arab spring,' of 'America fall' (meaning autumn, as he immediately said by explanation).

Again, coincidentally, that it would occur in one particular season.

Stunning ignorance, and he insults his elders, and throws up all over everyone here, like a ittle toddler with messy diapers.

Yet, his lack of knoweledge is always painfully obvious, as he proves that he doesn't have a clue about what is going on in the world.

The Twister...he reminds of one of those spinning tops that babies play with...spinning out of control...and getting nowhere.

The more 'progressives' crawl from under their rocks and seen for what they are, the smaller their ranks will become. The average citizen who think of themselves a part of the Left, will see with whom they are in league with and feel the bile rising in their throats. Interviews with these protesters show just how disturbed they are, how insane (stupid) they are, how un-American they are and the more the public sees these folks, the better for America.

Good God, did you ever take English in school?

I did take English but it wasn't my best subject. My editor usually makes the necessary corrections but I hate to bother her about these forum entries. Thanks to your kind words.

Changing the subject again because gayle has nothing of value to add to the conversation.

Van Jones is trying very hard to copy the success of the Tea Party but all that means is that yet again we have another loudmouth Democrat with no new ideas.

All I can say is BRAVO!

Too bad we didn't work to launch these protests when Bush stole the White House!

Watching these young people in their non violennt peaceful protests against the Wall St.PIGS, does my heart good!

Amazing how quickly this protest is growing, across the country, and without corporate money pushing it for their own gain.

G.

I hope they show up on the steps of the Supreme Court!
