Even if Obama supported it [ what else could he do when presented with such a scenario in the middle of a Pres Election!], he was not POTUS at the time. eg , when he supported it, he was not President. The only PRESIDENT who supported the bailout was BUSH.
Remember the President's [ BUSH ] announcement? I remember it word for word.

What happened to the accolades the left was giving Obama for putting the TARP bill together?
