It's almost a shame that 3 solid years of character assassination will all be for naught, given that the man is well positioned for defeat, but with Willard M. Romney as the standard-bearer, the GOP will still lose to him.

As the 30% of so of their base of right wing Christians will stay home rather than vote in a Mormon for president. (Might be 40% who say they will not vote for him, already).

If Romney is the the Republican candidate, I will vote for the Constitution Party as I have done since '92.

He's just whining that his beloved democrooks may not be able to choose the opposition candidate as they did with McCain, Bush II and Dole.

Right. I should have said, 'stay home, OR vote third party.'

Amounting to about the same thing in the end. Third party voters who oppose Obama will not help defeat him by voting that third party option.

??? In what respect did Democrats choose those three men as their opponents? (That was the so-called 'stupid party,' the GOP.)

If you want to say they WANTED those opponents, perhaps, but then they were delighted when Reagan was the nominee against Carter as well. Did the Democrats also then choose Reagan?

Did you watch the media ... they did everything but blow Gore/McCain/Bush, until the nomination. Then they turned on them like the ravenous jackals they are.

As to the media preferring Reagan ... that's a bigger whopper than your Orville Reddenbacher myth.

This is hard to follow, as apparently you now meant 'the media' chose the last couple GOP nominees, and not the 'Democrats (per se)'?

And you must watch a different media. The media all but shoveled dirt on the McCain candidacy as dead, even though he'd been their darling for decades before that. (Hint: he was just about like Romney is-- the early purported front-runner, but one who was being reported as gaining no traction, pleasing few on the primary trail, and who wouldn't win). They were panting at the leash to have old Fred Thompson jump in the race.

As for the MEDIA picking Gore? Please-- they TRASHED GORE for a year and a half, mercilessly. They wanted Bradley, and drooled over him. (Jake Tapper recounted an astounding early campaign event debate, where every time Gore spoke, catcalls and booing sprung up among the press corps watching a monitor.) Even the non-Democratic Party-leaning conservative London Financial Times noticed their anti-Gore bias, and stated that the two supposed big liberal papers, the NY Times and the WaPost, had assigned reporters to his campaign whose reports literally dripped scorn and disgust with the man in their every report on him (and that was true).

Doublethinking again my friend?

Your seeing them as two different entities clouds your thought processes.

Until the elimination of the left's beloved "FAIRNESS DOCTRINE" we did not have a true independent media in this until ... much less an impartial one.

After the demise of the FD, FOX and talk radio were able to get an opposing POV onto the air ... and the moonbat crazy left has had their knickers in a knot over it ever since.

Now before y'all soil yourselves seeing who can bleat "B-B-B-BUT F-F-F-FOX IS B-B-B-BIASED!!!" ... I agree with you completely.

Where we differ is that most on the right realize that all news sources are biased, and by entertaining different POV's the Barbara Streisand can usually be filtered out.

Leftists seem to have issues with that type of thinking, instead preferring to put a lip lock around the spoon fed party news while affixing blinders to ensure that no non party approved data gets by their collectivist defenses.

I see this here in the cabal daily.
